hi guys.. its been so long ive gone missing.. but yea.. anyway... how many mileage to be clocked before changing spark plugs and brake fluids??

 

my 7 month year old pulsar has reached his 10000km mark ....

Mastera, honestly you are killing me man. You know this thread exists and you have been reading it for years. It's not the fact that you haven't picked up yet on a simple thing like the spark plug that is amazing, it's the fact that you have been riding 10k and not bothered to check or ask... And people wonder why when they buy second hand Pulsar's they have issues with them...

Was really nice, if you make your peace with the fact that it rained 40min after we got to the beach, all the time until we reached JB

The group was really fun to be around, and we all rode back safely to JB.

I think that bech is a really nice spot for an afternoon of relaxed time, just need to bring a tent for in case in rains !

CHANGE OF THREAD AT 1000 PAGES ?

 

Hey guys, following up on a suggestion by MJ, how about we have this thread closed and open a new one under PULSARIANS SINGAPORE to host future discussions ?

It will also coincide with the upcoming launch of the 200NS, so why not ?

To make the group name more consistant and easier to find/refer to, here and on FB.

 

If all in favor or no one has objections, I can contact an SBF moderator to make it happen.

 

Got a reply from a moderator: we need to give them 2 names of members of this team to be appointed moderators to ensure our future sub-forum will be managed properly. Who here wants to volunteer ?

He also mentioned something about Singapore Bajaj being an advertiser on SBF and hence needing to strike an agreement with them before creating the sub forum, but I think he just misunderstood that we were NOT UM but just a team of riders, nothing to do with the official bajaj importer.......

gd idea..e moderator has got to be sgbike active all e time..has alot of time to sit in front of the comp(preferably sum1 workin IT or office hrs starin at comp e whole day). so i vote for revhappy!

Don't need to have lots of time - we are all busy and even those of us who post more than others, only means they enjoy the team and giving back. Anyone can make time if they are really interested in helping the group. I am not going to volunteer for this because it would just be too easy... Yall need to gear up and start getting involved too

 

More from the modo about the UM involvement : the purpose of discussion with Bajaj Singapore is to improve and established a cordial, beneficial & supportive relationship between Team, platform (forum) and the authorised distributor for Bajaj. They had always been supportive of the forum and therefore it should extend likewise for a supportive group of faithful riders riding their brand and sharing experience, expertise on the ride.

 

To which I replied that "Bajaj Singapore" has never shown any support to SBF that I know of, (maybe they support SBF to Avenger riders), and that they are not interested in supporting the brand's riders as far as I know. We do have a cordial (even friendly!) relationship with them, but only when it comes to purchasing or servicing the bike. How wonderful would it be if UM had a representative here, and was showing true support to the SBF community that rides a Pulsar !

Yea mastera7x, i got the same treatment before. That's why now seldom post alrdy...

 

Anyway! Spark plugs i change every 5000km. So far so good! Brake fluid wise.. U have pulsar handbook? If yes can check inside. If not i go home help u check mine.

Brake fluid I think very long time then change. Spark plug depends on which u are using. Can change after every alternate servicing.

You guys have to understand that helping is not the issue. The issue I was highlighting was that doing a little research before asking a question is a basic forum rule. Every forum in the world has that sticky that says before you ask, search for the answer first.

 

Mastera, the first place to look is your bike manual. The answers are there for your questions. you don't have it, a search here turns up results of links where you can dwl it or you can google it and dwl it.
