@strawberry, wd40 is To waterproof the plug, avoid humidity to create rust or impact the ignition process.

The carburettor once cleaned will improve the overall performance of the bike especially on rpm above 5, and will help a more fluid and easy pick up. But that is not what causes the bike to stall unless its state is so bad it impacts the fuel travel or fuel/mixture.

If Tuesday evening you are free I can drop by to help you troubleshoot a few things. Let me know, even if it's late I can come as the next day I start work late in the morning so no problem.

Sorry i'm not a pro on bikes and parts and so on. But i do remember asking UM on cone bearings because i was following the manual guidelines. Similarly ah tek turned the handlebars and said dont have to change. I asked what the price to change was, considering if it was cheap. The bearing itself is cheap. But if im not wrong he said there were a few in total and if i do want to change all of them including labor would make me $70+ poorer. In their own words, "this one ok la. You use the money can change other things". Haha. This was in january so i might recall wrongly. :)

Thanks ! Seems pricey.. @mjbs64 you still have the receipt from when you changed yours, by any chance ?

@revhappy, how much would it cost if you could bring it from India ? Do you think you could organize an MO for the cone bearings seeing that we'd all need to change ours sooner or later, what say you ? :)

In India the steering cone bearings cost about 10$, i.e about 1/3rd SG price. So you save only about 20-25$. Its the labour that is killing 40$.

I am waiting to see when one of my colleagues is going to India next and is kind enough to bring parts with him :)
