FC doesnt depend on type of petrol. It depends on riding style and condition of the bike. 35 km/Ltr is too low no matter what your riding style is. Check all the usual suspects for bad FC. Mainly the carb tuning, airfilter condition, clutch plates.

Yes it depends on riding style and bike condition. However to monitor your FC, it's best to keep certain things constant. This includes the octane of fuel, the time you pump petrol and also how full you pump.

I did this with my car before and realized that if I pumped 95, my FC drops a little compared to 92.

Try not to pump in the afternoon when it's hot. Evaporation takes place due to the heat. The storage tanks under the kiosk is hotter also. Also make sure all the fuel from the hose goes into your tank.

Well I tune down the idling of my bike from 1.6 to around 1.2 as that was the idling it was before I pump also just pumped my tyres so hopefully the mileage improves.btw how to check clutch plates?

Just asking what's the average fc u guys getting for ur pulsar?

I am getting 45 km/ltr. I think anything above 40 is ok. But 35 is certainly on the lower side(if indeed you have accurately calculated it) and tells me that there is surely scope for improvement. The biggest culprit should be the carb and next the air filter and after that spark plugs. You mentioned last time that you changed spark plugs. So that should be ruled out. Check the AFR setting, the diaphragm condition. Have you had a chance to go to UM to get your carb tuned/cleaned?

Good advice there. In addition always try to keep your tank as full as possible. Since vaporization takes place when there is lot of air in the tank. Especially true for cars.

Forgot to add that tyre pressure plays a huge part also. Before checking anything else, make sure your tyres are at their right pressure. If you are still getting low mileage, then check the engine.

Bikes are a little more susceptible to changes. I realised some bikes FC can drop from 49km to 42km because of sudden revving, leaving engine stationary and not moving, and also hard riding patterns.

Haha givi e20n, you like old school look is it? There was one for sale in garage sale section for 30$ I was considering it then thought doesn't suit pulsar. That box as a pair makes awesome side panniers though :)

No information yet on the launch date. Price wise only an indicator. I suggest you contact UM directly on that matter.

Jetstar has cheap tickets for Bali in Sept- Nov period. You can consider a gr8 vacation and at the same time scout for Bajaj parts and accessories :thumb:

http://www.jetstar.com/sg/en/special-offers

We are considering a trip in september, but then concerned about our 9 month baby. We are so used to the child friendly Singapore interms of ability to use pram, baby care centers in malls etc. Not sure how Bali will be.

welcome...

likely the 200Ns won't be arriving on SG shores for min another 3-4 months...

take your time to survey ard for your first bike b4 jumping in...

if you can wait,i think the NS will be a worthwhile wait...

price wise no indication of the exact pricing as of yet...
