Thanks for that info Gaban....wow..thats kind of ex...does the pulsar have to use the monokey bracket only or other brands is suitable?

Btw those who is using the older 180 version of pulsar...anyone got replace the whole exhaust unit with those silver chrome type?..Those black type like mine tends to rust easily..and my exhaust had been send for welding several times and respray black.

Saw the new 200 series exhaust and was wondering whether the new exhaust system can actual fit into those 180 series.Anyone do it already or ask about it at UM regarding whether it can be done?

Wo!!!! Old timer!!!! The chrome Ver1 ones are abt 320 i tink....the black ones 350.....Same arrrr mine also welded numerous times...the rust seems to come from the inside...RR71 has the chrome one fitted after an accident

For P200...the incline for the endcan part a bit steeper than P180...maybe can mods the bracks

There is a Chrome type for P180 (not using the P200's exhaust). It is the P180 UG1 exhaust. cost about 300++.

For current exhaust. we need to take care of it often. meaning... taking it out, sand it and spray it with High Temp Spray.

duno leh. i tried using a diff bracket at jb b4 using dis monokey. d mechanic back den had 2 weld n mod d braket. but the workmanship was lousy. thus i threw it away cos it looks senget. its is cheap though. hahaha!!

only monokey can fit in pulsar.

Thanks bro nemesis and gaban for the info...ya taking out and putting back the exhaust can be troublesome unless ur willing to do that every 3 months. i already give up doing that so mine is very rusty so thats why im thinking of changing into those chrome type.

only monokey can fit at pulsar??...anyone using other than monokey?

hey bro SuVespa..haha...i think ur pulsar is even older than mine.this price is from UM??do u know about the 200 exhaust then?...i tried asking other shops whether they can fit the exhaust into the older pulsar...they "may" be able to do it but with mod.

Bro Goof..ya still around..and my pulsar too still the same..still running fine after 3 yrs maybe because my mileage is only 43K.just recently log in to search for info regarding box...finally after 3 years i just decided to install a box.

On whether it is approve or not..i havent ask..maybe someone can actually ask UM regarding it?..

Some Off topic FAQ to think about.

Why does UG1 and UG2 have a better fuel consumption than UG3 even thou both is 180cc ?

i also suspect another thing, the meter. anyone really go n measure the distance u travelled is what's shown on the meter?

Done that...on expressway....by using the KM mark...ie letsay PIE 23KM mark next PIE 23.5KM mark and then PIE 24KM mark counts to 1km travelled...our ver1/ug2 meter calibrated to that 1 KM...catch any balllllzzzzzzzzzzzz

Realized I don't have any pictures of the suspensions themselves. Heres a pic of the tail end of my bajaj with all the boxes on. Tires are Shinko tires. Looks like michelin pilot, eh? bought the tires F + R for 150 at Chong Aik @ 26 Joo Chiat Road. 180 for a pair of BT39 tires is ****ing ridiculous.

Makida sussers can be had at lorong bapok for less than 200rm.

i paid my friend $100. its expensive, but you can call it "members price" i guess. rezeki halal dibagi.

Car Shop behind Eunos MRT station. I takes me 2 mths to do my homework for me to choose the right combustion system setting for the bike. Air Intake Ioniser is a device that turn combustion air from the surronding which is positive charge to negative charge before going into to combustion chamber to ignite.

NGK R platinum plug.

SplitFire Low resistance spark plug cable.

Hi bro, may I know how much does it cost for the spark plug and plug cable and how do we go about changing it? Hoping to save more fuels as recently had been traveling more often and pillion. :)

Important is correct air and fuel ratio = max combustion possible = max power out from the engine.

Hmm... is there any guideline on the air/fuel ratio? Not too sure how to determine mine.

For current exhaust. we need to take care of it often. meaning... taking it out, sand it and spray it with High Temp Spray.

Hi bro, can teach me how to take out the exhaust and maintain it? Thanks a million in advance.

Spark can cost from $8 (cheap copper plug 2mm) to a expensive $35 (0.7mm Iridium Racing Sperk Plug). I recommend a Platinum 0.9mm spark plug, due to it's slightly stronger spark and lifespan of the Platinum Element. Usually Platinum base cost aroung $10-$20. A low resistance spark cable usually cost aroung $35-$65. $65 is the one which I brought and install it myself.

The way you ride is also important when come into speed and pick up. Tire pressure need to be higher by 2-6psi for the rear tyre if you are going to pillion a passenger. I usually ride at night, this also contribute to higher milage.

What Nemesis ment if I am not wrong is by taking care of the exhaust external, black exhaust tend to rust and turn orange due to water and oxygen in the air we breathe. This is normal as pipes usually make of carbon steel (usually small bikes and stock exhaust). Usually rider take it out and spray it black to minimise the rusting of pipe external. Depand on the skill level of the rider who take care of his/her bike.

If you are skill enough. You can even maintain the exhaust pipe on your own by doing yourself without going to the shop to do it for you. Like taking it out clean it (externals) and spray it with high temperature spray paint.
