anyway me like reluctant to orders spare parts for my current p180 ever since P200-Fi is born... hee

for me if i wanna order, i'll buy a few things that you'll change sooner or later.

like clutch cable, throttle cable, diaphragms, brake shoes/pad...etc..

 

Talk about these mentioned parts, I wonder what frequency do we have to change these parts? I did not know whether the previous owner of my bike had replaced all these parts like the clutch and throttle cables and diaphragms?

Try not to order part from third party. You can but at ur own risk. even when u purchase the parts, you still need to go workshop pay labour charge and the part u purchase may not be up to date.

some shops last few wks i saw selling 2nd pulsar around 1.9k machine price. for u my brother, ur insurance is 1k cos ur age says it all. u can buy from other shops other den UM, but take note dat, the shop dat u bot ur pulsar may or may not hav d parts. so ask d parts first.

what u mean by items not to date? third party as in other brand that can be use bajaj..? but this guy is getting original parts ley. i assume from indian..

 

well true lah, even we get the parts still need to go to workshop and pay labour.. but the parts is dirt cheap, i buy lor than go JB top up petrol, drop by and change parts(those simple parts; clutch cable etc).. not more than RM5 i assume..

 

its like. Bajaj front sprocket is S$15.. and third party Yamaha RXZ front sprocket that can be use on my pulsar only cost me RM8.00.. thats a great different.

if air filter choked, wad damage does it cause to my bike?

 

and also, i'm gonna change my air filter soon, what brand air filter is the best for pulsar 200? and where to get it for cheap and good price??

sorry guys I am back after a long disappearance abit bz with work..Kindly I need some info on bajaj P200 as I consider purchasing 1.What is the mileage??And what's the stock top speed?? And What are the mods available for this bike to make it go faster??As I heard top speed damn slow.Just @ the regent of 110-120kmh.

 

What are the problems to look out for and which tyre is the best replacement for the stock tires??.As I tried the tires when I went 2 india on a short trip.I tried and it was scary..

Even if you buy Super4 will ride slower than me. So far I have never see any Pulsar rider overtake/potong me. Me average speed on expressway is 105km/h~max 118km/h.

Many Super 4 rider ride like donkey.

Anyone ride faster than 120km/hr I have to give up because my max speed is only 118km/h on flat road if down slope can reach about 122km/h.

My Pulsar is UG2 180( analog speedo meter).

FC about 35.5km/L. Now after tuning expect to get FC at least 37km/L.

My bike turning 3year old next month and mileage is more than 65000km. So far no major problem. Only change diaphragm one time. And other or routine like EO every 1500km~2000km using 20w50 or 15w50 only. Spark plug 20000km change normal plug or once a year.

Other like tire and sprocket and chain depend on wear and tear.

The air filter is used to filter air that goes to your engine. keeping debris from damaging your internal components. depending on the dust and debris that is in the air it will determine when you need to change it. you can check it and air it out every time you change the oil.

You can clean it by using an air hose and blow from the inside out about every 5,000 km. you don't have to change it until it gets contaminated or it gets plugged. a plugged air filter can also cause damage especially to your spark plugs and drop fuel mileage.

 

About which is the 'best', sorry need to ask maybe Nemesis since he is now 'part time' sales man for our bajaj bikes.

 

What say you Nemesis ... any 'best of the best' stuff?

WHOA! i barely reach 118km/h. i did once but 4 a short while. wats ur front n rear spoc size? u live in around north/west area? not many super4 ride like donkey. depends on whos riding also.
