if there is nothing decent to say, just don't say. respect this cause, please. it's really inappropriate to talk about having dog meat, cat meat, horse meat etc in response to this.

First off, I did not asked to be served Dog Meat, Cat Meat or Horse Meat.

You assume the worse, by letting your imagination run wild.

I only asked if there will be any. READ CAREFULLY.

If there is, say so If not say Nay.

Did it occur to any of you narrow minded people that I will blacklist this outing if I knew that there will be such food on the menu?

By the way, thank you Haya Busa for starting the ball rolling, by creating a hostile atmosphere, which got the rest over reacting.

A gracious apology for your lame & inappropriate joke would have done wonders to sooth hurt feelings here.

No doubt the question was asked in jest, but I didn't know that it was an immoral and beastly act, to ask the organisor to make sure there will not be any unpleasant surpise in the menu. Like the China Zoo.

By the way MODS ç•œ ç‰² éƒ½ ä¸ å¦‚ çš„ æ·· è›‹ Means " Inhuman B.A.S.T.A.R.D that is worse than a beast" in mandarin, I don't think I have done anything to warrant such abuse.

I will not hesistate to take legal actions against you if you continue to hurl vulgarities at me.

I'd like to extend the invitation of the NANAS vist to u,so as u can come n see for yourself how the animals r treated or if they rbeing cooked or if they behaves like jealous women n etc... at the same time maybe u cld give them(the volunteers) advise abt how to handle the puppies n dogs so as the small 1s wun get bitten n the aldult dogs dun behaves like jealous women.

I have already been there before, and have seen the smaller dogs chased away by the bigger dogs as they vie for our guys attention.

Caretakers tried to neutralise the situation by hugging the problem dogs when we petted the smaller dogs. One of the dogs, a poodle, however was not so lucky and was chased around the compound by one of the much bigger black dogs when the caretakers were not watching. The poodle was visibly shaking after that.

If you do not trust what I said, do what you like by all means.

And if I do visit Noah's Ark again, it will not be with small minded and unreasonable people.

By the way I hope you people will be going vegetarian that day, because it will be really meaningless if your are munching on a chicken, or lamb chops while commenting on how cruel and unfeeling Silent hunter's question on Dog Meat, Cat Meat, Horse Meat is.

Silent Hunter, I have to disagree with you on your POV. I respect you for who you are, and the contributions you have made to bring newbies up to JB for petrol. But the things you have said are way over the limit.

1st of all, Shirl is being very gracious to be organising such a trip up. Even if it was to a nearby place for makan, you have to know the trouble the organisers go through to bring everyone to and from the place safely. By posting such comments, whether you meant it as a joke or whatsoever, is not at all constructive to the organiser and many fellow animal lovers viewing this thread. I understand you do organise trips up to JB to pump petrol and back. But that is only a very small portion of organising trips. There are many many more factors to be considered in brining a convoy to places. Some of these factors I have yet to comprehend.

Secondly, I personally feel you have crossed the threshold of tolerance of many in just this page. After your first post about this, many have already sounded you off. But you still continue to persist that you have not offended anyone. If you do realise, you are alone in this "dark humor". I suggest you reflect on what you said, and keep these comments to yourself.

Last but not least, about your comment about those visiting NANAS to go vegetarian and what not, you don't seem to realise that the animals that you mentioned are specially bred for human consumption. Dogs, cats, horses etc are kept as pets. I'm not saying that the chicken cannot be kept as a pet, but like I just mentioned, these animals are specially bred for human consumption. I think it is a good idea for those visiting NANAS to go vegetarian for that day, to show their concern for animals in general. Maybe the organiser can consider this suggestion of yours.

Despite your suggestion to go vegetarian, you have offended a lot of people in your previous posts. I am not a hardcore animal lover, and I already feel that you are way overboard. One can only imagine how much anger is boiling is the animal lover's blood by now. So please be considerate and stop your "dark humor".

why i said good luck is becoz it had happened B4 years back n u r almost saying the almost same thing. n i was expecting this wld happened.

again like i said ur question in jest is not tasteful to everyone n like i've mentioned the resturant is a seafood restaurant nowhere near the santuary

i think u r way off... abt no eating meat n etc...

we r going there to donate to help these animals to have a better live n living conditions n we have riders who might even think of being a volunteer there.We r going there with a heart n another reason is. I and some others are going on this trip oh behalf a fellow biker who puts in plenty effort to help these animals.but unable to do so now.and wld like to carry on that legacy for as long as i can ride and at the same time bringing all bikers who r animals lovers together to share n discuss abt their loved pets

i suppose with my explanation we shld just let this matter rest...

let's not flame anymore or what soever..

let's just make this trip a success so the animals can benefits from out visit.

Planning a day trip on a Sunday to Nanas., animal sanctuary for abandoned dogs and cats. Retired race horses are placed there too. Animal lovers will be pleased to see plentiful dogs running freely in vast greenery.

Pls Upz this post if you are interested

Tentative date of visit: 17 August as Nanas is fully commited in July

(need min. 20 pax in order to arrange with Nanas for a guided tour of the sanctuary) :

wah y everytime northern knights will have quarrel one... all in front of computer like very powerful but on the road maybe not... haha... typing is louder den action nowadays... it will be nice to come out and la kopi once in a while to prevent cyberism syndrome.. live life to the fullest not foolest... cheers to all...
