maybe my shopping power not enough haha

Ok, after some dilly-dally ding dong bell, I finally opened up the chrome cover to check on the "Super Winker Flasher" unit from LAB (sorry for the bad quality, using HP cam). It's spec'ed as "12v 8-23W x2 Max 4 PCS".

Guess you were right about the x2. Now come to think of it, what the heck is "Max 4 PCS" anyway? I thought (that time) it meant it can support max 4 pcs lights on at the same time (x4)!

Depends on timing lor...

Btw, this is my DIY switch assembly. The box and switches are all bought from SLS. DIY cut and fit in the switches. Mounted using stainless steel L-bracket, tucked away nicely under the horn switch. Depending on your handlebar angle, some adjustment might be needed to make sure that the box (and L-bracket!) doesn't hit the tank when the handlebar is fully locked to the left.

On hindsight, box was too small (it's a ____ to cut!), and can't properly wire up everything (space constrain). A deeper box would have made things much easier. So far, only one switch is in use, which is the hazard light. Originally planned one for pilot light (lazy to fix!) and fog lights (idea trashed).

I'm not too sure about the max 4pcs thing but it seems probable to use, but don't hold me if anything wrong ah hahah

Thx... On the handlebar side, there's a bolt on the underside of the clutch lever base. Since the L-bracket is not too thick, I used that bolt to secure the bracket :p It's not very clear in the picture, but the inner hole of the L-bracket is where the bolt is. The loose cable tie on the outer hole is just to route the wires along with the rest of the stock cabling.

okay .DIY on..16 jan ..saturday...

most probably will get the flashers from ah boy...

boxes, switches from sls?? and hardware bolts and nuts from hardware shop..

i was thinking...using a L bracket..secure to bike handle via hose clamps...or just simply use km joe method..just switch and cable ties..

what u think guys??

so u guys bring your own recycle wires..i have manage to salvage a 2m length from a scrap fan.

i will be buying some components to try out the brake modulation too...hahhah wonder the circuits are reliable from the net:cheeky:

I think can get the metal switch from Sim Lim Tower (Not Sim Lim Square) and cover it with a rubber cover to waterproof it.

Saw the metal switch (abit like joystick) and rubber cover there couple of months back.

Wires I got! Red & Black type.

Soldering iron I got too!

Soldering wire I have a bit also! :cheeky:

Anyone thinking of putting fuses in?

I want to attach mine below the chrome covers or at the gap between the keyhole and fuel tank.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

yes. thats the kinde switch i'm talking about. cheap and good.. We can think of where to attached it on the day itself.. Most imptly must know where to mount the switch first.
