Just ride in, no appointment needed, any test centre will do, they only want your $$$.

Bring the relevant documents as stated in the inspection notice.

Just ride in. You do not require any appointment.

Nothing special to look out for in the Inspection, just follow the instruction from the Inspector. Nothing to worry at all if everything on your bike is either Stocked or Legal. The entire process will last you at most 10 minutes, mostly around 5 minutes it'll be over.

Price wise, I can't remember though.

Hey Tay, for the Daystar, the inspection letter will come soon. If I remembered correctly, it came around end July or early August. I inspected like 1 week before the Road Tax expired. :cheeky:

Just went for mine recently.

Inspection costs less then $20 and doesn't require any documents, unless you're renewing your road tax as well then you'll need both insurance and the inspection cert.

after pay money at the counter with the letter from LTA (if you lost it, they will need to see your road tax letter to check the system), head to inspection line.

Point 1. measure your exhaust reading (you can see the TV screen in front showing the process and result. You will notice blue (pass) or red (failed) reading.

Then he will ask you to turn on your signal light, brake light and horn

Point 2. Rode to point to test your front brake. He will let you know when to press. Then just press hard as you can. The machine will hold your bike (clamp) to help stable the bike.

Then the same process go for rear brake.

Point 3. Check head lamp level(up down), and angle (left, right)

Once passed, move on and wait for your result. Then you can renew your road tax at the road tax counter.

from what i know inspection is to be done once/year, regardless of ur road tax duration... so if u renew road tax 6 mths, and u did ur inspection this time, the next time u renew 6 mths no need to do inspection.
