i think he mean open the throttle gently... and don't stress every gear. and keep the speed below 80km/h for the top gear.

 

and normally after running in, change the EO to drain out the metal particles if any.

During running in change ur engine oil at the 300, 600 then 1000km mark. Make sure u try not to go past the 1/4 throttle. 1/4 throttle at gear 4 is 80 if u don't believe me. Part of running in is getting the carbon to build up nicely

guys.. any recommendations of white color light bulb tat won't burn so easily ah? just install 1 halogen one but still burned after not even a wk..

Yes that's true but the initial EO change is important because during running in, there's a lot of fine metal particles that get shaved off, then it drops into the EO. So if u check ur EO during the oil change after a run in, there's little bits of metal. That's going to hurt the engine. Then again, it's up to how much u're willing to spend :)

hi there..juz wanna ask u guys sumting. i bet that most of the sparks rider

 

down their fork. the mechanic will grind the fork holder right?so that the fork

 

can go through the holder. but how do u guys possible to down ur fork damn

 

low?i went to unique to down the fork but they only down a bit as they claim

 

that if i down lower,the fork will hit something around the pole light area.i

 

think it will hit the metal part that holds the horn. so juz wanna know how

 

does u guys possible to down the fork so low?i saw the weeding convoy pics

 

and most of the sparks rider down their fork very low. such as hakim's

 

bike.maybe u guys can clear my doubts.lastly,can recommend a shop that

 

charge cheaper for downing the fork.as i already down a bit,i wanna down it

 

as low as possible.hope u guys can help me.thanks alot guys

surely you can down all the way.... but front end will be super hard...

 

down abit is how much btw?

 

if i can remember correctly... its between 1 to 1.5 inch.

just down to your liking lor, but don't forget to ask the mech to add in fork oil.

but it'll be stiff, your arm can get sore on bumpy rides. :bounce:

but don't always follow hakim he racer ley. :bow:

How come my name come out. I sitting on the bike of course the fork low la. And my bike is black so cannot really see ah. That's why it looks shorter

guys,

 

b-plus selling the new GPR pipe @ 550 inc installation.

anyone tried asking direct to GPR agent hw much if buy direct from them??

 

went to see the pipe yst..

the end can sure looks very bulky..

thanks guys for ur replies.. anyway,during the time i down my fork,i spent

 

alot there to full service and change my tires,horn etc. so i told them to

 

charge me for $20 for downing the fork.haha.but i used to ask them last time

 

and they quote me $50.but i dont tink they know how to down very low.

 

anyone can recommend a shop that could down fork very low and is cheap?

 

 

to hakim: ur bike fork seems very low even without u sitting on it.haha.nice lah!
