I rode through that "off-road" section with both groups loh... :sian: Both group missed the same exit. Haiz.

 

Tomorrow I won't go liao. My leathers are still damp. Need to take a break also. Next session probably on Sat or Mon.

This morning weather looks good. I wonder if anyone went / is going?

Go to Lim Ah Boy and buy an XL raincoat.

 

Thats what I always carry with me when I go to the tracks. Just wear the raincoat over the suit... saves alot of headaches and extends the life of the suit. :thumb:

can anyone confirm PG is opened on 1st or 2nd Jan?

keen on going on either date.

I think its abit late to call them now as the track is closed today.

They are quite responsible with regards to updating the website so they should be open on the 1st. I'll be going up on the 1st. Been awhile...

I will *try* to sleep well, it's new year eve after all. I guess I won't touch alcohol tonight. Fruit juice please! :cheeky:

If you're a Wx junkie like me:

 

  1. Singapore is expected to experience a marked change to generally drier and hotter weather conditions than the previous month especially during second week of the month. The Northeast Monsoon Season, as normally defined by the prevailing northeast winds is expected to continue in the region with Singapore experiencing windy condition occasionally.
     
  2. During this outlook period, short-duration thundery showers, occurring mostly in the afternoon can still be expected on 6 to 7 days. Rainfall for the month of January is likely to be below average for most parts of Singapore.

OMG sorry I didn't notice. I was really very tired, and it was so warm that I wanted to get home ASAP to take off my suit. Next time come up and tap my shoulder. :cheeky:

 

Thanks 5thrider for your invaluable advice. You were absolutely right about my bike having lots of grip at full lean even after my knee touches down. I could actually lean more and still feel very stable. Bad news is, I finished my kneesliders during the second session and even scratched my right Ti kneeguard and toe slider. Heart pain! I should open my leg less next time.

 

For the second session, I went much faster for the first few laps. My conservative estimate is

 

I realize that my biggest problem is confidence / fear. I need to convince myself that it is possible and that my bike is capable. I was telling myself "Charn said it's ok. Just whack lah!" :sweat:
