Well, I live in the east... I consider going to johor just to topup petrol a waste of time for me. That's why I have to work lor, to pay for petrol mostly. Butbutbut now petrol increasing last I saw was 1.815/L for Shell98 It used to be 1.610 =(

well, I guess if you're able to afford the bike, you should be able to afford the incurred costs i.e. petrol, maintenance, insurance etc...

not say afford or not.. but govt muz noe tt we use the bike as a tpt.. n still we r studyin.. so if we were to have a tpt but have to afford these tiks.. den wouldnt it affect our studies?.. oso sg is focusing on human resources.. so y dont they maximise it out by having "discounts" on us.. juz my tikin...

i like to do modify at JB, it is better & cheaper...So many things can do there!

but i got very bad experience doing top service before...The bike came back here & piston seized(i was unsure if chiong or originals)...I have to change my engine block, piston sets, piston pin, needle bearings just to get the bike running again...sad man...spend so much $(that time NS some more..) only to have the bike overhauled...since then i am wary of JB...

Overhere, they also makan want, esp when u dont know the shop or mechs...sian huh??

that y now, i keep it standard...until i find a able, mechs...any recomendations???

Heh... government would say to you, save money for the future, take public transport... If you take concession, it would only add up to 100bucks max a month. You would be doing the authorities a favor because you are reducing the number of road users thus easing the traffic on sg roads. Not only that, less vehicles also means that there would be less air pollution and noise pollution. And best of all, you would helping the Earth by reducing the nation's fuel consumption and thus help contribute to efforts to slow down the rapid depletion of earth's natural resources.

 

At the end of the day, riding a bike is for convenience. But how many of us can say that we can live without that convenience especially after so many months/years depending on it?

 

Hurr. Student ezlink got expiry date issit? Perhaps for bus/mrt rides. But for those retailers that require only proof of identification i.e.sistic, hair salon etc, that one can still use student pass even after graduate...

i agree with dyingxatheist....my bikes in the workshop like since only last friday since my accident, but im beginning to miss it....damn bus/mrt rides cost me 50 bux to top up.....n taxis are wayy expensive.... at times like these i wish i never met with my accident...

i oso go jb.. so far so gd in jb.. coz i ev min lookin at wad they do.. they ask me go eat i sae i eat orady.. haha

 

wad i recommend is to go to a shop tt ur fren recommend n frm there u make frens wif the boss.. but i feel make frens wif the mech is better coz they r the ones touchin ur bike.. wen u frenly frenly wif dem naturally they will not cheat u.. sort of b "regular" of the shop..

 

my case is i noe the shop boss as the boss is my fren's father.. but i oso dont trust him coz many times he cheated me.. frm there i make frens wif the mech.. tts for my case la.. haha..

 

den in jb i oso got make fren fren wif the boss.. so far so gd oso.. but my prev incident was i waited damn long den i like damn not happy n showed to the boss.. duno next time he will still treat me the same not or will try to carrot me..
