hey pilots. i'm new to riding, and my engine/exhaust is super loud, and white smoke is in abundance. I just got this bike in this condition, I have no idea why. Someone care to advise me?

engine super loud = not good (dunno why not good.. but in my opinion maybe is con rod or piston or piston ring got problem liao.. i not sure k.. get a mech to properly diagnose)

 

exhaust super loud = VERY GOOD! (means maybe ur stomach and endcan is emptied) = ur bike has been mod before = got more power = tp notice more easily = illegal = good luck to u..

engine loud can also be due to incorrect carb setting right? cos i heard inproper setting means the air to fuel ratio is diff and den thus causing the combustion to be inproper also.. am i right? need guidence on this..

engine loud gt alot possibilities ah bro.. eg, engine bearing.. conrod.. and also clutch plates.. best is open up service lo.. OVERHAUL! hehes!

Pilots I need some advice. I just realise my coolant been empty for sometime. Any negative effects if I just use tap water? My fren said that 2B bikes no need worry about coolant and that tap water more than sufficient. How? Should i use proper coolant or tap?

some people say coolant is not that important. cos my friend's kr is without coolant and is running fine. not sure though cos im noob. XD

 

running fine yes..but wear and tear is not something we notice on daily basis..

 

Our 2 stroke bikes needs coolant to ensure that mechanical components are not overheating which could lead to metal fatigue failures. Metal fatigues can cause ya components to break or crack under extended period. Piston seizure,block scratches,bend conrod and other damages are some of the factors.

 

Do u notice we have temperature gauge on our bikes? that is how much important our coolant is to us.

 

Please use a proper coolant.

lol..actually, sometimes overhaul dun really solve d problem ah..cuz yes u change the parts to new one, but not all parts are new..thus, with some old parts still der, the old parts will somehow hasten the process of wear and tear of the new parts..tats wat someone once told me sometime back..forgot who n what exactly was told..hehes..its kind of the same w old n new tyres on ur bike..d older one will hasten d wear n tear of the newer tyre..which is why better to change both tyres @ d same time uh..but if wan really almost no probemlatic bike..myt as well go get a new bike den go overhaul uh..hehes

anyway today i just realised something.. if i just kick start my bike then straight away go, my gears all like very stiff.. if i on choke start bike smk 1 stick, my gear damn smooth..

 

any logic behind this?

bro.. i think use proper coolent better ah.. if use tap water can like tat why those factories produce coolent for? and why people spend money to buy them? i think for me, i rather spend the money on buying coolent rather den spend money to fix my bike IF problems occurs bcos of inproper coolent..

 

well.. this just my opinion..

 

i would say use proper coolant..however,i dun add 100% coolant,i add mayb 5-10% water along wif coolant..but must top up cos water evaporates...well,at least dats wad i do..cos imo coolant is specially for freezng conditions..water is a better in cooling properties due to evaporation..haha(my own theory la cn ignore)

exhaust loud?wen stationary n bike on,u c the rpm is at wad rpm?shld b 1.5...if mroe den more loud la wen not moving..wen moving damn loud,mayb tym to stuff some fibres in ur exhaust?haha go check y loud lor..(but kr is loud bike,dun compare to ybr all those 4strokes)
