thanks firehshamie.. yea, the paintwork,was initially abit,hmmm, odd?haha.. gay lah, gerlie lah..every comment u can say bout pink,i got it alreadi..but now,i sumhow fall in love with the paintwork..haha..

 

anyway,if u all remembered, i posted a problem bout my 'gear one at traffic light will stall' problem..well,its solved.u all are rite,it is the idle timing rpm setting.got it set at 1.5rpm to be safe..

 

just went to a fren's workshop to have the mechanic check my bike to see what was the mods and anything i can do to make the bike better..

 

how heartbreaking to hear,my bike now,alot alot alot problem with stability.

fork not aligned,fork oil realli insufficient, rear brake pad wearing off..and my IU unit isnt working! wiring & battery all ok..its just the machine spoil.haish...

 

anyway, everytime i ride my bike,say at higher speed,like 80kmph,and i nid to stop for the coming red traffic light,i brake like how they teach at DC.front and back gradual..

problem is,the front steering (wheel & handlebar) always wobble left right left right,like trying to compensate for the sudden need to slow down.and i noe that isnt normal..

 

my question : apart from the above stated problems i have,is there anything else that can cause the wobbling and shaking of the steering..i almost bang into a car from the back coz i cudnt brake my bike i a straight line.it was going forcefully left and right and i have to try and stabilize the steering..waaah,close call..

hmmm, that issues is settle but now have another issue not stable ar? guess you have to change the fork if that's the case.. have you check whether it is one side or both side having issues? and how serious is the wobble? lastly, you will be riding your bike or will be U/G once you got 2A?

that is FCUKING dangerous. bro go to a trusted mechanic and ask him to troubleshoot. best go jb coz all the prob can fix at low price..ur one i feel that probably fork is bent and maybe oil seal rupture so not enough oil in the fork..do go check things out..btw 80km/hr is not considered high speed yet..u will realise after some time..its only medium speed..if at medium speed u have trouble braking then at high speed i can only say u are in deep shiat.

 

so do get things checked out..and on rainy days go extra slow..

both side problem.and the wobble is kinda serious.like,when stopping,during that 20metres before the bike stops,at that speed,it feels like the front tyre is pulled left right left right by a strong force..

is jb really tat gd except for the price? i really cannot tahan the jam and humps, msia rd condition will make ur bike wear n tear easier too:giddy:

if you really need.. i can sell you my previous fork.. i have a "slight" bend fork that i've kept.. it will not wobble like you mentioned now.. I used it for a couple of months and when i go and change oil seal, the mech, mentioned if i'm going to renew COE and etc, i should change one.. and if I'm going to use for a couple of year.. this fork can make it for another 3 years? that's wat he mentioned.. cause only one side is bend less den 0.01 degree? when you row it on the floor, you can see estimated how bend it is.. If you REALLY need, I sell you at $60..

 

and i can dun tell you one..cuz.. you cannot see any difference.. 0.01 degree.. nearly no one can see other den the mech..

 

just go and ask if it's really needed to change anot.. if not.. just used back lor..

change fork seal and see how it is.. maybe you have to meet up with anyone of us here.. and they will see for you also?

haha.. you need shop to intro meh? haha...

it's good for price in terms of workmanship.. might be going in next month end to change my clutch plates and throttle cables.. clutch plates worn out liaoz.. gear 1 auto go back neutral... :sianz:

 

rev awhile gear 1.. move off less den 3 seconds.. suddenly ta.. go back to neutral liaoz..

wear and tear is actually a very long term process..even if ride in singapore also got humps here and there mah..cannot just becoz of afew humps then scared to go there..if the bike cant even take on afew extra humps and rough roads, what good is the bike?summor kr is from thailand right? so i believe they built it taking into account their own road condition.. and wear and tear is unavoidable anyway so these minor things if can afford petrol shouldnt be difficult to rectify wear and tear..and summor only need to rectify once in dunno how many years..and jb is really really good for the price..coz the exhange rate is good..and furthermore they are more familiar with kr bikes coz they simply have much more experience since the number of kr over there is crazy..in singapore we have too much variety so the experience of the jb mech cfm better..

 

kok seng, ah boy, motul aka shi fu, all these i think are okay to go to..i wun say good or ath coz good is only measurable by hw much they wanna cheat u and these 3 i have mentioned seem to relatively cheat customers lesser than the rest and are also the most popular..the more popular, the more bikes go there, so the more experience..so yah can try these places..
