oh btw.. last nite tried rpm 9.5k on g6, (g1-5 nvr drag though) handphone's speedo put my max speed 138km/h only.. -.-

Tonight... Tuas track is open for you to show your riding skills from 7 PM to midnight. A safe environment with no TPs or cars to worry about... just you, your bike and the track.

 

All for $30 only. Jeans, boots, gloves, jacket with padding or armour and full face helmet required.

 

If you always have the urge to ride fast.. here is the proper place to let go steam without worrying about losing your licence.

 

Talking about how low and fast you can go in corner is one thing... proving it to yourself that you can do it at the track is another. Its always harder to do than to talk.

Carbon brakes and high end brands of tyres like Michelin, work well only if there is alot of heat in them... which can only happen when on a race track. On the roads... they will never reach their optimum operating temperatures.

 

Not will you be wasting your money... your bike's braking efficiency actually drops.

Well there are 2 kinds of "racing" products ...

 

>> The "JB" or "AGL" kind (e.g. gaskets, cylinder head) which leak / crack / give way etc after a while

>> The genuine ones which do not reach their optimal temps on the road and one hard countersteer on that tyre at 50 km/h becomes a skid hazard

Actually you guys should go to Abboy Motor Racing at Kallang Ave Industrial Estate. His shop is opposite Lim Ah Boy's workshop.

 

He is a very good mechanic with 2 stroke bikes...being a racer with podium finishes at PG before. He is my race mechanic for my Y12Z.

 

He has 2 race bikes, both 125Zs, one ridden by me and the other by an Indonesian rider. Both of us finished on the podium in the last round of races at Tuas.. thanks to the power and reliablility of the bikes which were personally tuned and maintained by him.

 

You can go see him and ask for his opinion about the sound if you are worried about it.

 

And he is one of rare few mechanics that don't try and carrot anyone. I know him long enough to know that about him. Tell him I recommended you to go to him... his charges for repairs will be the most reasonable you have ever been quoted. I am quite sure of that.

i just change in singapore.. $90 clutch plate.. EO depending on which brand you use.. true.. now my pick up improve..

 

gear 1 and 2 FINALLY can reach RPM 7+++++ in the morning.. w/o much problem..

but i just change piston and ring like 2 months back leh...got so fast chui one meh...and i realise the sound only starts at rpm 5....
