GuYs...i'm new To kR...bUt i've got dis prob dat has been wonderin me...my prob is..

 

1)wen i'm riding at 5th or 6th gear there's diz hauling sound.....but other gears is ok....wat is the prob with the bike??

im usin the stock mudguard currently, lol but my main aim is to think how to prevent water from soaking up, drilling holes will be ok right?

 

take picture let me see your box how big with RXZ mudguard can? :p

 

 

 

where you buying your double seater sharp tail? from shop or people? i also thought of changing, how much roughly? for single/ double seater respectively..

 

 

 

 

there is completely no box when using rxz mudguard..

 

few hundred bucks.. jb shop..

idlling you all hear those sound right. how about when you clutch in? mine when i clutch in dont have or at certain time have but softer than when i dont clutch in. when riding, have the sound will be louder as i go higher rpm and the vibration goes really crazy.

 

 

 

 

the only ting ting ting sound tat i can hear when idling is the sound tat come out from my stomach and endcan..

hey keong and rapala, im also having the same problem.

 

before i went for top service, im already facing this problem. Now also still same, the vibration is still there. did some discussion with mechs and meet up some ppl to test bike, my bike is different. comparing my bike to des bike, mine vibrate garang (fierce).

 

i change these few parts during my service: piston, piston ring,pin bearing, head gasket.

now feel so much lighter but the vibration and sound "cling cling sound".

 

idlling you all hear those sound right. how about when you clutch in? mine when i clutch in dont have or at certain time have but softer than when i dont clutch in. when riding, have the sound will be louder as i go higher rpm and the vibration goes really crazy.

 

panjang told me this, my magnet coil lose and this lead to the heavy vibration. he added my conrode and the bearing also might be loose. magnet coil loose, this wont have good performance in distance means loose power i guess.. so he quote me around 900rm to get it fixed.

 

i went to planet, i ask him to check my magnet coil thingy but he say its working fine -_-. so i am abit confuse. Told him regarding the vibration, he say its normal. this one make me like think sooo hard. chong quote me:

magnet coil - 350

magnet coil, conrode,bearing - 4++

shaft, conrode , bearing - 5++

 

my conclusion is to listen to both because what i know is that vibration is normal but excess is not good right. vibration is due to conrode and the bearing loose. ( correct me if im wrong =) ) haha. how about sharf ? i dont know how to spell it. gear shaft or something that also make your bike vibrate..

 

any experience and advise to share ? sorry write like a composition.

Definitely has somethin to do with the conrod..:faint:

 

what time, tuesday is tmr i see if i can go down. Circuit road is at ubi right.

Guys just wondering if anyone of you have this problem.

 

lately my kr has been acting very strangely. What happens is that when i wack my bike really hard(like twist the throttle real fast) and start changing gears when the rpms are between 8-9k, after that my bike will suddenly lose all power.

 

It will refuse to go above 60 on the gear 6 and rpm will stay locked at 5k(i think thats the sweet spot for the valve to open?). And when idling it will be like at 0.5k with a really sick noise.

 

After riding for awhile it goes back to normal, just wondering if anything is wrong. It didnt use to be like this.

 

I tink i kena b4.. But 4 me i was trying to reach top speed.. Den it happens.. wen u stop u really nyd to open throttle as ur pick up sucks.. and yup i oso stuck ard 60 der.. 4 me i juz go normal servicing like clean piston all e engine parts lah.. solved my problem.. dont noe bout urs..

nope i dun have that sound.. i dun use dry clutch!

I'm guessin you are thinkin of coverin the holes/vents with wire mesh? Look for them at industrial areas..They are really cheap..:cool:

oh, and here, they are the weird nuts..:D

 

 

oh and i am super frustrated, but i am at the end of my wits abt what to do.

 

my bike's eo still changed to white (due to presence of water/other liquid like coolant seeping into and mix with the eo).

 

super frustrating. it's been happening since the day i got my baby until now. even after change water seal pump after 8 months of riding & overhaul after abt a year of riding..after overhaul, eo stays good for 2 months, until i went for radiator & valve servicing..and it starts all over again. and now at this point of time, it seems that my ride cud only get to 120km/h (@ 6th gear & rpm 7) and seems difficult to get over 120 even after i rev like siao. seems that there is a resistance, perhaps sumwhere in the engine. feels like so to me. when i think abt it, how can it be the valve, when i just went for valve servicing. hmm.. mebe he doesnt want me to go too fast la. later he tired. :cheeky:

 

anyways..that is all i gotta say for my bike. for those who are curious what other symptoms there myt be, can ask me in person. in forum here, i just want to read possible solutions any kind soul myt have abt my ride, and nothing more. further questions myt not get entertained.

for ur case its conferm ur engine bearing lose... mine was like dat,

juz overhaul ok alrdy. the vibration is stronger bcoz of ur engine bearings.. n mayb even ur conrod. the magnet coil got noting to do with the vibrations.
