wat problem are u facing? gear 6 rpm 7 u travelling at 100??

 

if so.. i dun think its a prob lor.. cos different bike might perform different slightly from others.. maybe cos of ur sprocket size(which i suspect its the cause)? maybe u have not serviced for quite sometime? maybe also due to ur setting?

 

i cannot be sure for u also cos im still not pro enough.. hahaa..

 

anyway to let u noe.. my bike at gear 6 rpm 6.5, its going at slightly above 110.. its somewhere rpm 6.75 when im travelling at 120.. but im using teeth 39 for my rear sprocket..

next time to confirm whether izit me.. look for a obvious 7letters black wording on the side of my tailboard can already.. ahhaaha..

 

anyway.. did all the problems start to occur AFTER u did the carb servicing and plug change?

 

I saw your bike i think a few shop below kok ping? park on the road side, until those car need to go slow2 so wont hit

 

This problem surfaced after the servicing. What happened was during my 2A at bbdc, got heavy rain. When i went to take my bike then this problem surface.

 

I just rode it to mac for breakfast a few mins ago, and the problem still persists zzz...

yeah i know but it use to travel at around 100km/h for gear 6 rpm6. under perform by so much? kinda weird. argh

 

servicing? spark plug changed less than a month. engine oil changed about a month back.

 

sprocket 39 at rpm 6.75 can 110km/h, then mine 7 then 100km/h. very big diff..

weird, got my revtec repaired all. jus felt it became smoother that's all. previously gear 6 rpm 6 can reach 100, now gear 6 rpm 7 then 100..

 

dunno isit i rem wrongly not.. but judging from my sprocket size 38, is it normal? or did i remember wrongly? lol

Also check your chain if its too loose it will also cause in less rpm->speed efficiency.

u try u from the oil on/off switch below got 1 cap,open see got water ?

last time my old bike alway got this problem

inside oil tanks got lot of water

clean carb 1 time no problem for few day only

then the same problem will cum again

if is like that

must clean the oil tank n cover when rain!

Can..Should be cheaper..But will depend on shop..Some will show you "black face" and charge you high labour costs..If change ownself even cheaper..Cut on the labour costs also..An at the same time..Get to know you bike inside out..

 

Hi bros, have this recent prob with the kr. Have tried to trouble shoot the problem myself but cant determine the exact cause.

 

My kr keeps dying..

Note its warmed up properly(tho it also dies while i warm it up:dot:)

 

Symptoms:

KR dies at traffic light.

 

KR while riding will jerk forward repeatedly as if its almost gonna die(the jerk is those kind when your bike stall type).

 

KR will completely died while riding even on expressway. I will drop a gear to let it "push start" back to life...

 

 

 

I dont think its the idling as i tried setting to 1.8k and it will still die.

The way it dies is very sudden. As if you put to N gear, the engine will sound healthy then abrutly die, or it will have a few distinct almost die sounds n die.

If riding it will knock forward(like stall like that) fighting to stay alive, or it will die :sian:

yup.. clutch plates can last really long.. mine at least 2 years? or more.. I taken over for 2 years b4 decided to change..

12.4~13.0 *bike started

13.5 *charging* rev or on the run

max 15.2 ***diff bikes will go up max diff, cause of LEDs, light bulb brake lights and etc*** (min 13.5) will do..
