lolzzz... you dont know how much i've spent on my bike as it is. even minor minor thing i'll go jb fix. Oil seal break i fix, fork oil cap leaking i fix the moment i notice.

 

only that my bike cant go above 10k rpm, but that one day1 till now i havent fix(?).

 

Paintwork just cheap1 will do.

i am a newbie here riding a KR i need some help from you friends i need a reliable and honest service shop to do my bike service any recommendations,whenever i try to enter any bike shop they try to thin my wallet,yesterday i went to bikewerks at bukit timah want to service my brake piston and calipers they die die want to change the whole pump instead of open and service the piston not even see the pistons they decided its spoil cannot use ready(may be because i am having the P Triangle in my bike or may be an Indian i convert my license so they don't know i got a 6 years more experience in riding)

 

one more shop near taman jurong decided the brake plate the hydraulic pump has spoil i need to change

 

the real thing is my brake is become soft and spongy i need to step harder on it to stop above 60 KM speed

 

pls give me any recommendations for bike servicing and repairing shops as you feel reasonable and honest-i am at west side

oh. and by the way arsenal2006. if you really wanna buy a 1st hand krr, go to sin boon motors. its in between sembawang and admiralty. and yeah, i agree with muhammad123. dont look at aprilias as if they are makes superior to us. yeah, they have legal arrow full systems, superb braking systems, and ultimate stability. but whats the use if you cant utilize it. i've seen kr's been aprilias and vice versa many times.

cud be cuz ur brake calips also same as mine, 1st gen msia kr calips.. brake pad hard to find, so if change back to stock brakes nxt time svc or change pad also easy..

lol...get a KR lor.. since you are in a KR thread.. haha.. if you go to a aprilia thread and ask.. they confirm ask you get a aprilia also.. and.. seriously.. aprilia is only looks bigger.. in terms of speed and pick up.. that's quite a diff.. we seen it and been there.. i'm far far away from this R125.. I can just ride past it easily at the speed of 110.. my bike is consider slow is this thread.. wat do you think?

I can tell u a shop at redhill, go to Blk 61 Lengkok Bahru. Koon Motors. The most reliable shop so far.

hmm partially may be its true, but i noticed that the caliper pin is rusty and stuck inside so they need to dismantle it and do some polishing lubricate, if needed change the O ring is good enough to make it work, but they wanted to sell something to make more profit onetime rather the customer visit next time and so,sorry the shop is RACEWERKS at Bukit merah lane behind the OG warehouse.

 

the funny thing is each mechanic is wanted to change different parts one say whole unit, one say brake plate,another one say tyre fault,lucky never say change the road may be can brake better

 

just for bleed the fluid tight the chain cost $30 dollars?the elf oil?

the problem is my brake caliper pins are rusty need to take out and polish change the O ring and lubricate the things fix it back.

 

different mechanic wants to change different parts,one want to change whole unit,another says brake plate,one says tyre, lucky no body yet says the roads not so good for this bike.

 

the shops is Racewerks at bukit merah its a typo error,sorry 4 that,

to bleed the brake fuid and tight the chain does it cost $30?dont you thing its cutting throat of people?some more they fix the brake without brake pad,(for their concern its spoil cannot use anymore, also i am not buying the thing from them so let me go with one brake and accident).

 

i am so blurr in roads friends still im learning road directions thats why i preferred west area nothing else.

The mistake you made is goin to a shop specializin more in big bikes rather than our tiny litle bikes..No offence to anyone or any shop..But what I noticed is that when you enter a shop with a tiny bike they will try to chop you as much as they can..Change this or that or this spoil and that spoil..But it differs when you're ridin a bigger bike..Go and look around..Try shops you've never been to and observe..

 

Bleedin of brakes is around that price..It depends on if they do it manually or usin a pump..Tightenin of chain is free..Tho I've been to a shop that tried to charge me 2 dollars to tighten chain and when the mech was about to get to work told me my chain is spoilt..

You'd be surprised how fast vespas can go..If you can take corners with a Vespa steadily..You won't have any trouble takin corners with other bikes..
