What gear were you at when you went down the slop at 100km/h?

 

No issues, previously i'm using original carb, i too always have to pull on choke to start up my bike, the choke is there for a reason. Don't worry.

 

Either your speedometer is inaccurate or time to change your gear meter.

now is 15/38, mian jet 250,fc=308km/without on reserve

how about ,if i change to 14/41 any different/drop of fc without open value?

ahaha.. i dun think there are fake or original kr air box.. i believe there are only one type of airbox.. unless u are taking about diff types of air filters.. ahaha..

i see.. thanks for the enlightenment guys! but whats the diff i can expect between 15/39 sprocket compared to 14/39 sprockets? i know for a fact the bigger it is (rear sprocket), the stronger the pick up.. but loss out on top end.. does the same fundamental works for front sprocket as well?

hmmm.. the air filter tat i mean is something tat replace the whole of ur air box and is connected to ur carb.. it could either be like a cone shape object or round shape object.. it is more commonly known as the cone filter or also can call as air filter.. below is a picture of an example of cone filter..

 

KR air box is also considered a type of air filter.. this is because there is a layer of cotton or sponge or dunno wat is tat called inside the airbox to filter the air and preventing stones or sand from going into ur carb.. the sponge in different cases, could have been removed by ur mech depending on preference.. in this case, it is commonly called air box because it look like a box..

 

aftermarket air filter and KR original air box is 2 different looking items.. even though their main purpose is to filter the air and preventing useless stuffs going into the carb.. they might result in different performance and are used different depending on the setting that ur bike if going for..

at that gear u shouldn't be experiencing loud noise and hard engine braking. coz the lower the gear, the stronger the engine brake. go have it checked bro. =)

i ytd ride my kr till 100 km/h, den when down slope, i slowly close my throttle to let my bike run on engine brake, but de sound is like damn noisy, and bike like having a heavy brake during tt engine braking, is it suppose to be like dis? den dis week lately i having difficulties in starting my bike. when ever i try to kick start 5 - 6 times, if cant, i pull down my choke, if alway like tt is it good for my bike? or is it time to change my spark plug n engine oil? and oso, last weekend, my fren n i travel tgt. he ride at speed of 80km/h n i oso ride at tt same speed too, but den he travel faster den me? wad is de cause ah? is it i need to decarbonise my exhaust pipe liao? need your advice. thanks so much.

gear meter if not wrong got ori and local ones. which one u want? ori ones i think around 50.

14/39 n 15/38 all r same when add up = 53 teeth

but cannot count like that

can faster abit but pickup power loose abit also
