hi there, I am riding a krr 150 bike and often go to a local workshop to do general maintenance or repair. didnt dare to go in malaysia because heard alot of cases of bike being stolen there. So usually i will sit on my friends bike to go in. feel kinna sucky when being pillion. so anyway, my tires are gong to wear off soon so have a intention of going malaysia to buy a pair. For the past two years i've been going to ah boy motor shop to change the tires to bridgestone batalax. I suppose malaysia sell tires that are cheaper compared to sg right? But as for the quality wise, is it compromise compared to when buying in sg? I am a basically a general rider who doesnt run fast on the road often but travel alot because of my work requirements. Can anyone recommend me a specific brand of tires that is available and at a affordable price in malaysia motorshop?? roughly how much does a pair cost plus workmanship? If possible state the shop name too so i can just go down to that shop straightaway instead of running around JB looking for 1. appreciate it alot. one more thing is that I normally ride during raining days with my rain coat even though it rains, so tires that have a good grip on wet surface would be good also. thx

for your info, the servicing/repair of bike is alot cheaper in jb but not in tyre.. their price for tyre are the same price as in sg.. if u dont speed alot, imo i suggest u to change to tt900, its cheap and acceptable traction in dry/wet weather... and it does not wear off so fast compared to bt39ss.

Dunnlop, one tire 45 sing , front back 90 total. Unique motor got promo if im not wrong. buy from Sing, my tire more ex

TT900 is under dunlop...indeed BT39ss is betta then TT900 but since u mention u do not speed alot. tt900 should do the job, i am currently using it as well.. like chanster mentioned, sg price for both tyre cost $90 and jb cost RM 215 so no point..

haha. i got a bad day yesterday night n this morning.

i was about to fetch my gf then my kr goes .. "vrrmmmm" haha.. at 3rd gear, picking to 4th, it suddenly die. i neutral the gear back, then start igniting. guess wat? haha! there's no lights on the neutral indicator. must be my fuse.

same goes today, this morning was about kicking up myself to work, darns. luckily it did'nt when far, about 3mins walk-push-ride from my house. LOL! hope u guys have a great day ahead! taking caring with riding!

All gurus, I need help / advice.

 

I went to do a full servicing on a bike shop. they decarbonize my piston block and my carburator.

 

Now, my bike got no power. I cant even drag my engine past 6000 rpm. So, I have to change up my gear at only ard 5000rpm.

 

Changing up gear so early only mean that I dont have much power from the engine. My top gear can only give me around 90 to 100 km/h.

 

What is wrong and What can I do to rectify this problem?
