lastly, when my petrol is going into reserve tank, we just switch to reserve right?

den during reserve when i go to 110kmh, i will lke on off on off like jerk n jerk n jerk while slow down. its like petrol have, den dont have, den have, den dont have.. i know this got nothing to do wit my petrol cos this will only happen only when i switch to reserve. i konw our reserve have nearly 2litre..

I think I know your problem. Firstly, go to your on-off-reserve switch, you'll notice there's a tube connecting to it right? Now, OFF and unplug the tube, turn the knob ON. U'll see that the petrol will flow out fast(onto the floor). Now turn it OFF and then turn to reserve. Does the petrol still flow out fast onto the floor? After u do this experiment, post your results here.

 

bro u know abt how or where to modify? i plan to modify for speed n pickup, but also for transport. i intend to use only if i m late for work n other emergency purposes.

If you're using for transport, I recommend standard settings. There's no need to modify further. Late for work? Standard can go 180km/h u noe. Haha.

 

hi i curious n interested in petrol consumption. u were saying last time your fc is 200? curently mine is 220 now. that if i go 100kmh. i go to the extend of bringing 2 2T btl to put petrol just so my fc will go to 270 max. you were saying abt caltex n petronas? got difference ah?

wat abt 95, 98, n v power? also got difference?

pls provide the details

Yes, yes..Each brand of fuel has difference. V power is powerful but ur petrol finish fast. 95,98 i'm not sure. Some pple told me 98 is smoother than 95. I'm always on 95. The best is Petronas personally for me.

i try my top speed till 160km/hr, the engine die off.den when it slow down, till 150, it turns on back. y ah?

 

n, u got any good shop to recommend for major repair n modify?

i tot of changing blog n modify otw. i'm sick of going to cheap shop cos no quality.

Means ur piston seize... High chance ur block got crack, over polished or over ported. OR ur tank inside is dirty or too rusty till its all stuck

Last time my Fc for KR can get 250km before hitting reserve. Initially was 270km before hit reserve but it drops slightly after sometime. Due to valve jam so Fc drops abit. Well its actually falls onto your right hand. The condition of the bike. Sprocket size. Carb tuning. Valve in working cndition. And how you ride. Constantly twist your wrist and slowly pick up speed. Don't rush. You have to understand the sprocket size too. The bigger the rear sprocket, the faster the pickup. So if you try to play pick up with small rear sprocket, it doesnt tally. You're just stressing your engine. :)) For fuel, 95 or 98 will do. It depends. Seldom pump v power. And also for sure there will be one time when you're gonna like, haiya nvm today 1 time just pump 92 lah. :))) Learn about kr is fun. Learn about the tuning. Sprocket size. Remember, one thing let to another. Stay standard is the way unless you say its for track. Totally different .

You can ask kyrul for standard mod. I think he know best. As for me i keep it stock. Just play with sprocket size. Make sure valve okey. Not stuck. And correct standard tuning.

I was talking whacking at 160km/hr....maybe your 2T lubrication couldn't keep up with your speed. Your piston working very hard but not enough lubrication. Piston seize as in it is randomly seizing and working now and then. Piston jam then totally can't move. I got travel around with a seizing piston before so I know abit.

Try get a new fuel hose and replace it. Piston seize can start but will die off after a few mins or second. Piston jam totally no compression. Kick start cannot hit until bottom. Half way stuck. Mine jam before. Piston jam. conrod and block. :)) Or another alternative if still cannot, replace the fuel cork. Many cases of damaged fuel cock due to rust and stuff. So when you turn to reserve, it doesnt flow smoothly.

Check if your valve is stuck. Service valve for around 30 plus. Then if still same problem, check wiring which connects to battery. Sometimes one wire accidentally unplug results in lesser power. ENsure wiring is okey :) i think i experience it before. 120km/h like stuck then die then start back. Went to shop, say piston seize. I wasnt convince so ask a friend. He ask me check my wiring. Because with good wiring on bike, power transfer smoothly. Batttery make sure in good condition :) yeah imo

Around 20km/h different. The higher the speed, the more inaccurate it is . .

 

Each meter is diff... So far ive tested with class 2 bike diff is ard 10-20km/h. Some meter says 180km/h when actual speed is 150-160km/h

yup yup... depending on the rotator at your wheel + your speedo.. :)

Very bad error gap. U feel like king when ur bike hits above 200km/h but u feel like throwing your bike once u ask your friend what his speedometer show. Hahaha.

i heard got supplier shop sellling kr parts.

at rowell rd

if i remember blog selling at 300 or 400.

gd price ever heard.

wah u seem like u know krr quite long. i think i must meet u up u c my bike how

around me all my bike fren is non-krr very sad so i cant learn much

Maybe still not enough for the speed u r going. Imo, the quality of 2T you using also matters if you whack like that.
