looks like there will be quite a sizable turnout tomorrow evening ... to minimise confusion, I'll list out the details of the proposed route (up to Kranji Dam). Those who are familiar with the route below please help to direct the rest who are not sure. I am still waiting for volunteers to help out in this area ... being a slow rider myself, I 'll probably take up the last position, otherwise if i am in front, u guys will all fall asleep at 80km/h ... someone for the pole position?

 

Route B:

Marina South > Keppel Rd > Telok Blangah Rd (pass Harbour Front) > Pasir Panjang Rd > Turn right into South Buona Vista Rd > Turn left into AYE > Jurong Hill (look out for Jurong Bird Park exit after Teban Flyover)

 

Jurong Hill (do not exit to AYE at foot of the Hill) > Turn left into Jurong Pier Rd > Jalan Boon Lay > Jalan Bahar > Lim Chu Kang Rd > Turn right into Neo Tiew Rd > Kranji Dam

 

some safety reminders:

 

1. Series of bends at South Buona Vista Rd and Neo Tiew Rd. Pls maintain safe following distance and do not travel at excessive speed. Some of the bends are tricky and we need to be extra careful as we are riding ina group. Not to forget you might possibly chance upon some wild dogs in your path whilst doing that Rossi-style cornering at Neo Tiew Rd

 

2. If I recall correctly, speed limit at Lim Chu Kang Rd is around 60km/h. Will there be TP with mobile cams there? I have no idea
