It can be due to worn out bearing,a worn out rear suspension and dent rim. After 10000km or a crash,do have your wheel set check for alignment.

yo all i'm new been riding krr for more 7 years going to scrap my bike. I mod my bike few times in many ways.... I actually depends what u want... I'm selling my parts away, Full set of ferring, Orriginal pipe (without muffler), My Modified Original Sport Rim (The only one in Singapore)....Any enquiries call or text me at 83696121. No harm making new friends who love riding... Currently i'm don't owe a bike but i'll share what i know about krr...

hi guys i just got my krr150 for a week. alot of problems. main problem is there's this black tube underneath the bike keeps leaking petrol. the first time it leaked, it leaked from full tank to empty. went for servicing they say serviced already but now still leaking but not that much. kickstart also cannot start after like kicking for !@#$% times. whats wrong with the bike?

 

after towing to bike shop, mechanic started the bike and wack all the white smoke out. then after that got black oil spitting out of the pipe. my frens and mechanic jitao say maybe need overhaul. Maybe 2t pump spoil, maybe oil seal spoil. If oil seal spoil need around how much? will this problem lead to other problem like piston,conrod, etc?

UPDATE: just updating anyone that happen to have interest in the topic of tyres.

 

after switching to new set of BT39 ( 90/80 front, 110/70 rear ) recently, found out i can "afford" to increase tyre pressure to 230 ( 33 PSI ) front, 240 ( 35PSI ) rear & found all perfect. much more than my worn-out previous Pilot Sporty.

 

So apparently desmond & gutripper, you guys were right on your tyre pressure assuming you guys use BT39! Turns out that ideal tyre pressure also VARIES, depending on BRAND & CONDITION of tyres.

can one.. i plump 35 psi front.. 41psi behind..

1) black tube, i suppose that's under the tank? you have to change the fuel hose..

- with regards to the bike shop, go back to them and tell them to check that leak..

2) cannot start, change spark plug..that will ease your starting up..

3) no need overhaul!! that's normal, black oil might be cause by you never wack your bike..white smoke is normal.. UNLESS.. black smoke.. jialat... just continue to ride and ask us if you need anymore advise.. if required.. you can go planet and ask them..

search for planet in sbf and you will find it..

thanks dude. now the bike at bike dynamic. they will open and check whether is the oil seal got problem. i think its black smoke come out cuz mechanic help me wack then we saw black smoke. black smoke means what?

Bro, I share your frustration and worries pertaining to mention items. First,you might want to go back to the shop which you got it from and demand a total diagnosis of the bike. Revert this to the manager and demand his direct intervention.

 

1) The black hose should be your fuel hose. If its leaking,have it replaced asap. This might lead to fire and life threatening situation.

 

2) If you have trouble starting,have the spark plug change and carburetor serviced. Also check the spark plug cable and head. Change if necessary.

 

3) White smoke can be due to water sipping into your tank, no 2T intake or insufficient amount thus piston friction on the block. In other words,the piston rings are damaged. You do not need to do an OVERHAUL,just have the piston and block replaced or re polished.

Overhaul means changing of internal gears and piston,this will cost you a bomb. Dont worry, just tell the mechanic that he needs to open your engine,check the piston and block,replaced them if necessary. I was a mechanic for KRR and I know this issue well.

seriously, BT39 is really so "incredible" & "unbelievable" grip that i really "open" my eyes. last time my previous owner tyres gave me lots of "guts & skill training".

bro.. tot you mentioned white smoke earlier? black smoke is "piston eating engine oil" aka bad news.. white smoke is normal.. i start my bike everyday white smoke..

 

black oil is due to you did not wack your bike thus excess 2T dripping out..

 

take note, white smoke and black smoke is both diff..
