have found a bike.

Need some views from u guys.

$2200 for a gsxr. FM plate. BUT COE expires on June in 2005. Bike is in good condition and is from a fellow forumer.

Outside price for this bike i asked from Sin boon FK plate $2.7k(Their price is always high.. condition not confirm good)... COE is renewed though.

Have yet to ask at other motor shops.

If any of you guys heads down motordiam and sees a GSX, do help me ask for the price of it. Machine price will do.

1) NGK spark plugs are good enough. its only $4 to $6.

2) Its best to use gear oil for 2 stroke bikes. I recommend you motul transoil expert. Its avaliable at motoworld. $11.50 a bottle if i remember correctly.

3) It depends on what engine oil u use. Fully-syn should less you around 5000km.

For me, i change my engine oil when i feel the bike is rough.

4) Any semi-syn 2T will do the trick. If u'r feeling rich and pamper yr bike a lot, go ahead get those fully-syn 2T like esso gold, castrol R2, motul and etc.

firstly, i've a question to ask you, are u intending to upgrade to 2A in another years time?

If you asked me, $6000 for a KRR first hand with first party insurance, WAY TO EXPENSIVE. Let me tell you this lar, FIRST party no doubt if u self skid or damage the bike can claim, but yr next preium sure very expesnvie. Unless u'r riding a Super bike like GSXR 1000, 750 or Haya.. just stick to 2nd party fire and theft for the budget side. Even if u take 2nd party fire theft also quite expensive for yr age lar.. but at least its cheaper than a few hundreds.

secondly, If you do have intentions to upgrade, trust me, you won't want to buy a first hand bike. I can safely tell you, this bike, buy expensive sell cheap.

Meaning, u buy at 5k now, next year you push back shop.. maybe they offer you only 2.5-3k to take back the bike only. You will lose more than half of the value in a year!

If riding a sports bike is a must to you, get a FV or FU plate KRR. Its cheaper, and u won't lose too much in a years time when u wana sell the bike to upgrade to 2A.

spark plug can use ngk denso iridium

for 2 stroke bike, its better to use gear oil as we dont use it to lube the piston

3000km for semi-synthetic, 5000km for fully-synthetic, however its just a guideline

got alot brands...castrol R2, Motul, repsol, elf...blah blah blah
