haha actually below 6k can get lah, but try to at least have 6k lah, you never know what kinda things is gonna crop up

btw will u actually feel the difference if u use a lousy grade oil ? eg mineral compare to full syn.

 

juz got my bike frm motor diam nt long ago ... so dunno wad oil they use leh.... so far i run 500km liao haha....dunno shld change my oil at 1000km anot leh.....

good fully synthetic 4T oil cost around $18 and above, but theres no need to use such expensive oil for 2 stroke bikes...just a waste of money

 

of course you will feel the difference, especially when you changing gears

 

you just got your bike 1st hand? then should continue doing your run-in and change it quite often...how long change once is up to you

 

just go motodiam ask if they got gear oil, if have ask for the price then if you think its ok, change loh...1 example is motul gear oil from motoworld, $11.50

machine price ($4k-$4.2k)??

IU ($150++)??

insurance

COE ($564)

rd tax ($40)

GST 5%

 

after minus off downpayment, add 5% interest, then u will get the leftover price...

castrol r4 = $16 (fully syn)

castrol activx = $5.50 (w/ syn particles)

 

better change yr engine oil by 1000km

to at least a semi-syn oil

 

i think not all motordiam got sell gearoil

so better take a look at what oil the motordiam u go to has to offer 1st before u ask them to change oil for u

 

for gearoil that they recommend motul transoil or smth

havent tried out myself

should cost ard $12 if i didnt remember wrongly

 

frm my past use of castrol r4...it somehow makes the bike easier to start early in the morning....

there's no logical explaination for this...but that's what i experienced

i using SPC 2T alpha... i think 2 week need top 1 bottle.... am i consuming too much 2T?

aiyah, forget about those info for the 2T lar. Its just a story telling thingy. EVERY BOTTLE OF 2T will have their own story of their 2T. LOL!

in anyway, i believe u'r still running in yr bike. maybe yr mech open the 2T pump big big. Tune it down after you completed yr run in. Should be fine by then.
