guys i dunno if my bike belly got hole or wat. but its wet on the outside and after riding got smelly smoke emitting frm the belly. wats wrong ah?

estimate about singapore dollars $150 to service top:take out cylinder wash valve change piston and 2 piston rings which is original japan made

 

decarbonise of pipe about spore dollars $25

 

wash carburettor plus adjust timmings spore dollars $10

 

prices based on this month which i did it for but u must tahan to wait for 5-6 hours hor

perhaps more info like age of bike, any recent incident comin down from kerb, leakage from connection between cylinder and muffler best if got pic

anyway is yr pipe really badly rusted/corruded??

get the rust removed soon before a hole really appears in yr exhaust....

 

as for the smell....i only get smell frm the stomach of my pipe:

1. after i apply a layer of engine oil on the pipe to prevent rust...then i go ride the bike ard....will have 1 kind of smell

2. after i spray my pipe using black hi-temp spray...then i go ride my bike...have have another kind of smell different frm the previous smell...

u think is it worth it? all the things add up till $1361 ( rov,transfer fee,insurance....). tat exclude the $500 he say i need to pay... some more got 14mth more to go.. $144x 14 = $2016.. add up $3877.. :confused:

cause when buy bike...how can look at the bike together w/ price of insurance and rd tax etc one?

for me..i look at price of vehicle itself

i bought my FU plate for $2.7K

 

and this FW plate u r looking at cost $2K + $500 and is COI somemore...means u can take yr time to pay...interest is already taken care of in the $2.5K

 

so conclusion would be...pricewise the bike is somewhat affordable....the condition of the bike u will have to corss yr fingers and pray it's good liaoz! bro!

anyway u sure there's a problem w/ yr bike boh?

it sounds normal to me leh...

usual case of valve open and kena jammed cause u closed throttle too abruptly...

anyway yr krr so fast already still wan to make somemore....later i follow no taillight liao

 

but i'm super lazy to get the documentations done. first time sell bike also.. den where to find new bike. so mafan lor.

throw to yr motordiam and do lor...anyway the additional paperwork fees incurred also not paid by u...hahaz

What do u mean by wet on the outside?What kind of liquid?Engine oil, petrol, coolent?

I bought it at second hand. Already 2 years bike liao. Just now went to bike shop and check. Confirm that cluth plate gone liao. Finishing in less than one month.

clutch plate gone quite easy to tell.

You just start bike, don throttle, engage first gear.

If the moment u engage first gear and bike dies off means clutch plate bye bye liao

nah... 5k can't get u a vtec.

At most a version S.. still got at least 1k left.

Think u should be able to get a older version of vtec 1.. FR plate at around 6.5k maybe slight more or less... private sale though..
