eh guys... just want to ask, anyone else having trouble with crosswinds lately? i'm finding that the krr seems to b just too light during this rainy season. if a crosswind catches me at anything above 110, the effect is bad enough for me to have to fight to regain control. so i've been going very slowly since. never experienced this before the bad weather came.

2nd link bridge is even worse... there was an incident, i remember one day after the tsunami hit, where the winds were so bad it would have blown the entire bike to the next lane if i hadn't been careful.

i'm just wondering is it just me or if the winds are really tt crazy. pls comment...

I honestly find the aerodynamics of the KRR to be above satisfactory level but we have to bear something in mind here, in an "effective" crosswind, even cars get blown to the opposite side of the road. There's no wrath greater than one created by God himself.....

Do yourself a favor and correct your mindset first before you go take that TP test & start killing yourself. Haven't passed license and you am contemplating on a race?? Goodness gracious...

there's actually a flaw in the kips chasis where cross-wind affects the stability and should you come across 1 chop the throttle, grip the tank and never squeeze in-between vehicles that should save you from danger of whatsoever :thumb:

post it once on indiviual headings where most were saying 2b bikes are all prone to that due to light weight bla bla bla ( rubbish if u ask me) just for the sake of argument is there any major weight diff in RXZ, TZR (single or double disk ), LC kia, RG light sprinter, SDR rode them in same stretch of roads they didnt shrink my balls like the kips does when cross-wind strikes :help:

I beg to differ from your comments that there is a flaw in the KIPS aerodynamics design although I do agree with your suggestions to remedy any crosswinds.

Coincidentally I have also owned before the bikes you have mentioned below in the "Exciting days of riding, the 80's". If my memory serves me correct, the dry weight of the stock bikes should be around :-

RD125LC - 103kg

RXZ135 - 101kg

RG125 - 112kg

TZR125 - 113kg

TZR125DDB - 114kg

Regarding your issue about riding on the same stretch of road with different bikes, now then again, no 2 wind patterns are the same too, hence I do not think that's a real fair comparison.

don think the valve plates on the top grooves been worn hence restricting the

rotation givin false impression of jam

huh

i know nothing abt the valves leh

all along covered with the rubber cap and i never go take out also

hehez

anyway tdy my spark plug gave up on me after using it for 6000KM

took it out and found the tip black (but not super full of carbon type) with a layer of black oil which can also be found along the lower threads of the plug also

does it mean my 2T intake open too big?

i would say not much point

i dont see how a stock KRR can lose to stock y125z

not to say after modification

anyway y125z is certainly a heavy petrol drinker

yes the basic tool kit...any1 noes where can i buy the kawasaki toolkit for the KRR? how much would it be? since it's supposed to a stock item it will fit under the pillion seat rite?

hmmz..the tools in the standard tools kit are pretty much ordinary leh

can easily go to hardware shop and get tools that serve the same purpose marhz...no need to have exactly the same stuff right?

anyway juz a word of caution for those of u who keep tools underneath yr pillion seat

w/o proper defence..KRR seats are easy to open w/o the use of key...so worse case scenario is the thief open up yr seat then see yr tools and take them away...and as if it's not bad enough...use YR tools to remove other parts frm YR bike :giddy:

well individual preference, some would still go for the 4 strokes for convenience while some others just ain't too concern abt the power.
