u can try my method

use gear 3 whack till 8K RPM

after for ard 30seconds start to close abit...

then when ard 7K RPM up to gear 4 and maintain 6K RPM and after that slowly increase to gear 6

i usually only try this late at night when there r lesser vehicles lar...

hey ...accident is part n parcel of riding.as long as u still able to post here i think u r fine.

 

juz be xtra careful when u ride again.

 

REM to be xtra alert when u r behind taxi.u dunno when they r going to stop to pick up passenger.or change lane.

stupid taxis!!! hope u r better.

 

i almost kiss taxi oso on friday nite. this taxi swerve out fr it's lane to the next without signal while queueing up at the traffic junction. i was in btw lanes squeezing to the front and cause me to jam e brake. blood arse didn't know til i horn him and nv even say sorry. blocked my path to move to the front some more. so many times taxi anyhow cut my lanes and anyhow jam brakes.....i try to stay far fr them

 

and yes my weather forecast arm.....thks to taxi too!

eh.. what do u al think. i duno anything. tmrl i going down insurance to tell them.. den rite. my insurance 3rd party. so i'll haev to repair the bike myself. i'll sell my kips lor.. cannot tahan le and my fairing gone.. so no moer blue / white fairing.. sigh.. so nice my bike just gone like that.. pple.. ride safe k! anyway, should i repair den sell to shop, rapair den sell to other pple or straightaway give back shop and ask how much i have to logi.

ya ya! taxi lor. haiz. but also my fault. cannot puish all to taxis.. yupz.. i'll ride again. maybe not kips.. my bike installment high too.. $170 am th. maybe a safe bike lor. phantom or X9. dun wan a sport bike to let me whack lor.

i think it doesn't matter what bike u are riding. if you are not cautious enough or you are unlucky, you will meet with an accident some day. =) i almost crashed into a car's rear too, but i admit it was my fault for losing concentration and failure to look far ahead. i was too concentrated on avoiding a taxi that is forcefully trying to cut into my lane. (his was stationary). i would say i was damn lucky. fished tailed for a couple of meters but never lose balance.

how much installments left u have?

KRR nowadays hard to sell for a good price

see how much yr motordiam quote u lor

and also must see how serious the damage to yr bike is

new paintwork will maybe cost more than a whole new set of fairings excluding petrol tank

so u c which one u prefer better...

Althogh you have my sympathy, I guess you cannot blame anyone but yourself in this case as you have failed to keep a safe distance between yourself and the taxi. At all times, anticipate worst case scenarios during riding by observing the surrounding vehicles, pedestrains and possible escape routes should sh*t fall etc...etc..

 

Lastly, some words of encouragement.... If we stopped picking ourselves up after we fall, we wouldn't be able to walk! Important thing in a crash is to learn where you've gone wrong, analyse the possible different scenarios of the whole incident, how you could have avoided it and trust me, you would become a better rider! I hope you can take things in their stride & hope you get a speedy recovery.
