New Daelim Roadwin R250 VS Kawasaki Ninja 250 VS Suzuki GSR 400

I hope that i'll get my 2A license soon but i'm torn between this 3 bikes.I would like to get some opinions here.I've been searching through the net but can't seem to find answers.Which one do you guys think is better?The new daelim roadwin R250,Kawasaki Ninja 250 or Suzuki GSR 400?If you ask what i would prefer,i would prefer reliability and top end speed.Hope i can get some answers here.Thanks guys.

U kinda comparing bikes of different areas of specialties. I dun have any personal reviews of the ninja 250 or the roadwin 250. However judging from the sleek looks and size of the new Ninja. Its sure to very swift in the bends. Also note that its a replica of its bigger brothers. Seating like a true racer.

 

No comments on roadwin.

 

GSR 400 is another category of bikes. Being at 400cc, its an obvious reason whom reaches the top end faster. Looks bulky but it rides nimble. Upright seating position and comfy on our singapore roads.

 

Ultimately its up to the rider.. Which is U. What u want and what u like. Good luck bro and ride safe.

Hmmm.Ok then.I don't think its fair to compare 250cc to 400cc.So,any comments on the daelim and kawasaki bikes?Both are sports bike.

suggest u keep saving $$$ after u pass class 2a n proceed to class 2.

forget about these 250 or 400, go after honda cb1000r.

it's not the fastest bike but it is a bike for commuting at best.

torque n power at useable range, unlike sport where u got to rev up for power.

Well,i will go for a class 2 but i don't think the bike that i want will ever be in singapore so might as well go for a 250cc or 400cc bike then.The class 2 bike that i would love to have would be the Honda DN 01.

if u intend to upgrade class 2 bike after class 2A, recommand u go for a 2nd hand S4. its at affordable price n well known for it reliability.

yeap true super 4 spec 1 can get around 3k....u dont suffer a great loss than buying a new bike when u upgrade 2 class 2

yes, hongguan not bs-ing u... the DN-01 is in SGP and can be viewed at Looi's. i sat on it. no bluff.

Dun listen to Mr Who ... if you ever have the slightest idea of getting a GSR... think twice and look the the thread ... you'll know Revo is still the best among it's class...

Thank you so much cyrix 76.But thing is,i've heard from a couple of my friends who said the new engine for kawasaki ninja 250 is more powerful than CB400 S4 Hyper Vtec Revo.Is that true?Which has more pick up and top end speed?

On paper Kawa 250 33bhp...154Kg dry weight---->.214 bhp per kg

on paper CB400 53bhp....194Kg dry weight----->0.273 bhp per kg

Hmm even there is some discrepancy...Is still not hard to guess who would be faster....

But from aerodynamic point of view that is a different story...

Every both bikes in the same state of tune. the one aerodynamic advantage will win in top speed.

Every S4 is better in top speed and pick up...S4 should have the kawa in the mirror..

it doesnt matter if its a sports bike or street bike. if u want acceleration, its the power-to-weight ratio that we are talking about here.. using hachi's calculation, cb 400 has 0.273bhp/kg and the kwak 250 has 0.214bhp/kg. that's almost similar figures. so in terms of acceleration, i'd say both are head-to-head. but if u wanna talk about top speed, with an excess of 20bhp, i'd say the cb400 wins hands down, provided its not restricted.
