hahaha u asked a question that i also duno how to answer... but i guess most likely they had some other things that is different from yours ba... have u checked with them wad they had done apart from what you had seen on the exterior? btw, wad's the things u had done to your fazer beside akra FS? any interior mods? fz1 or fz8 or fz6? from my understanding and wad i had did, throttle plates & velocity stacks do change the sound of your bike...

i got my plates from ivan's & stacks from graves...

there are also other places who had those sub throttle plates aka flies & velocity stacks...

very sorry bro, i've no idea... i'm using graves stacks, bought in ebay... i got a good friend who is using factory pro stacks, also bought in ebay... sound wise, he said his is better but to me, both are the same... maybe my ears not a good... hahahaha! but for both, u will hear superb suction power from 4k rpm onwards... woohoo!

 

for flies, u actually do ur own mod by taking your stock flies out and cut it yourself nice nice... or get stock flies from local supplier and cut it out and replace...

Dear riders wat is the mileage for full tank fz1?

Need ur expertise in this issue.I've just bought a 2nd hand fz1s 2008 model.While riding and reaching 90km onward,my handle shakes.just wondering if anyone of u had experienced it?Could it be of the bearing cone or other related issues?thanks.

You should probably expect 15-17km per litre, depending on how you ride.

After all, it's a 1000cc machine.

Handlebar shakes as in buzzing, or it wavers?

Checked your tyre pressures yet?

Does the bike actually goes straight when you free hand for a moment, or it steers itself to either side?

Just checking with the experts here - will be doing a trip to Fraser's Hill on my Fazer6S2 soon. I dont have any boxes and used a backpack (haversack) the previous time. Tiring.

 

Any one ever used a bag tied down the seat with netting? Reliable/safe?

 

Any other methods? I did consider a tankbag but not sure if it will leave scratch marks on the tank.

Did that on my FZ600 last time... no issues but u have to secure it properly.... also your haversack must not be too big

I always secure a bag whenever I go track.. must really secure it.. otherwise you can consider tailbags..

Going in June/July with a few other bikers. Did the trip last year around that time too but I am not too keen to carry a backpack again! Can be very tiring although its comft. at the start ... and i dont want to scratch my precious bike ...

check your forktube level, it may be unbalanced, 1 high 1 low, next check the head bearings, wheel bearings and swingarm bearings

Really appreciate it bro ... but i cant bear to tamper with my bike ... love to have it as stock as possible ... owe u a kopi tho!

 

Guess it has to be a lighter backpack and a bag tied down to my seat's rear ...
