Been using it for a month, very good phone in term of the build and function.

 

This phone fully loaded with function, not laggy at all and the good point will go on and on and on...

 

-So I decided that I will tell you the bad point of the phone instead, camera function is below average hopefully coming firmware will resolve the issue.

 

-No dedicated camera key, not really a big issue for me but is always good to have it.

 

-No RDS for FM radio but not a big issue either.

 

-Smart dialing not available in the current firm for this region but will be included in the next firmware update.

 

Thats all the bad point i find but is acceptable for me.

i thinking of getting this phone...

after the phone on mkt for some time, is the phone reliable?

is the front camera able to take self pic?

if cannot, is there any 3rd party prog to allow it to perform that?

E71 is good! :)

Think the only downside is getting used to the QWERTY keypad lor.. The rest is wonderful!

But its quite exp oso... I heard M1 got this deal whereby u can get the phone for free...

Just came back looking for this phone and to renew my contract with Starhub. Sad to say, none of the shops here in the North (Sengkang, AMK, Sembawang & Hougang) have any stock for the black colour E71.....

 

Anyone knows which Starhub shops in Heartland shops have the black E71 at the moment? Called 1633 and they told me that none of their main shops has stocks. :cry:

try tiong bahru... basement starhub shop...i just got my black.. a week back...

THIS HP IS CRAP.

camera states 3.2MP but is worse than a 1.3MP.

after using abt 6months, now the hp cannot turn off.

slightly drop it on a table and it resets.

my camera now forever cannot use also...

really waste of money to buy this hp.

is up to individual luck..

my gf hav been using for some time.. nv encounter any problem..

but like u say, the pic quality isn't great..

i think it's a great phone as well, dropped it twice and still functioning normal. hv to admit that camera is crap but i rather use a proper camera though.

can use normal earphone to plug on the audio jack?

if cannot, can use own earphone to plug at the handsfree?

 

its 2.5mm jack so you gotta get a converter plug for e71

 

am waiting for E72.. coming out in 3/4 of tis year.. soon.. camera function much better thn E71..

 

im waiting for e72 to be out too. much better specs then the e71 :)

Mine dropped twice from table height. So far no prob, no lag and it has the quality for the price I paid for. Camera is crap no doubt but not an issue. Business functions are important to me as I have to take notes and calendar inputs are very important to me.

Yupz, the camera sucks, which i prefer my previous omnia but the hang rate was high so i switch to nokia. so far so good.

the screen protector will come in 2 piece , screen and metal back cover. back cover easily scratch. metal back cover easier to deform when impact. other than above mention. I LOVE MY E71. : )
