I pump once in 2 months.. i usually will press the tires every week to see..

Pump once a week is good.

You are actually also checking for leaks/punctures at the same time.

 

Maybe *touchwood*, you picked u a nail or something and it's slowly leaking, you might not noticed it until sometime later the puncture becomes a bigger prob and left you stranded on the roads.

Some of these buggers are embedded into the tyres and you wun notice until you give the tyres a check over before your rides or during the pump.

i usually pump my tyres whenever i pump petrol.

for me best is 2wks max a months once...

i onLy pump when tire are stiLL cold.. meaning before ride when tire not that warm

 

Bro, can i ask somethin? How do u pump the tyres when they are cold? I mean for my case, i usually have to ride to the petrol station... By than my tyres aso abit heated up already.... Do u buy a pump or wat?

i think u can relase ur air b4 u pump bah...

tat wad i normally do... every 3rd or 4th time i pump my tyre i will relase the air to almost flat...

i repair my rear tyre twice and it cause me to pump every week. air confirm leak 1. coz the hole too big. inside 2 worms liao also same. going to change it soon.

i just did a defensive riding course in SSDC and that was one of the topics they mentioned. they advised checking tyre pressure once every 2nd fuel top up, this way even just checking you'd know if you would need to pump

u can buy tat anywhr... car/bike accessories shop la...petrol kiosk la... or even ntuc... price very cheap only...

 

btw ur tyre pressure drop 20kpa a week... i think tats something wrong wif ur tyre or rims eh...
