CDC Bike Learner

Currently can't decide to go for which license 1st.

Was thinking of getting the bike license b4 a car license.

Which will be more advisable to take 1st?

 

Btw, I have nv sat on a motorbike in my whole life before!!!!

Wonder if it will be harder to learn as I don't have the feel of the balancing etc.

i dont think it matters if u have or have not sat on a bike b4.

between car and bike, for me, i get my car first, coz parents sponsor.

some pple chose bike first, coz they need a form transport.. as u know, getting a car and maintaining it isnt cheap at all. =)

You don't have to sit a bike at all to learn one. At least maybe a Bicycle.

 

Doesn't really matter bike or car first. Concurrently also can. Just try to maybe clear all the license that you want at the same time. So at least you can have the 12 demerit point system for 3 years or 4 years then can don't care already.

the demerit system. i tot, for car, after a year, it'll become 24pts no matter if ure taking 2b 2a or 2..?

I heard that will change back to 12 pts.

I've checked with the Driving Centres. Its confirmed that after any license, your points will drop back to 12.

yes,thats why some ppl can console themself when they fail TP by saying that at least they still got 24pts to spare

Oki, will be booking for the test etc once I'm back from holiday.

But I have to prepare a few stuff right? eg. a helmet?

 

Any recommendations on where to get and what kind to get?

if u want to use the helmet at the driving centre also can but the smell u must tahan abit..

 

if u want to buy helmet, no need to get those expensive one.. when u got license already then can buy ex one...maybe u can try and check out at LAB or the bike shops near there...

but hor, after got licence and go on road, i feel its better to invest abit more in a good helmet..

 

suay suay buang and use the tarmac to sand your head, and suay suay suay the helmet crack and sand your head instead.. NOT WORTH MAN!!

 

learning still ok, buang also wouldn't kenna head...

haha! for now i use that helmet only lor...if if buy expensive helmet my pocket later got one big hole...some more need to pay monthly installment for my bike, season parking, petrol and some accessories for my bike...hehe!

hopefully won't get into any accident... that's why i ride safely...slow nvm as long as you reach your destination in one piece...

Sometimes its other vehicles on the road or even the particles on the road that caused the accident.. Ride safely also to a certain bro.. My full face saved my jaw when i skidded due to stones few years ago.. juz my 2 cents..

yeah..sometimes it may not be our fault and riding safely will not guarantee safety..i also skidded once due to sand...my bike fell but i'm still standing...haha! don't know how to describe it...

oh ya forgot to add..when i skidded i hit the kerb also and that's when my bike fell...ya lar very heng liao...

At least my face is saved .. tats y i strongly encourage my frds who are newbies to wear full face when riding..
