hey dont talk bad about CDC. i've passed my 2b, 2a, and 3 all at first attempt under them. :)

the instructors are really helpful too. somehow, they have a good balance of good cop vs bad cop amongst them. some are really patient, some know how to F u and make u learn from your mistakes.

yah... agree...

some are really good instructors..

they have their ways to make you learn.

you are there to learn, not teach.. whatever they say is right..

if you are really that good, you should be taking over their place and not taking lessons.

period.

wanna check with u all, ssdc the blind spot checking and check back is normally as follows when turning left.

check back right move abit. just before left turn chck blind spot.

but when i come to cdc, they have a check right then check left then move off without checking blind spot. which is correct sia? my bro took his test today and he got 2 times demerit for not checking blind spot! so which is correct sia?

don mean to talk bad about cdc but the instructor really just any how pass ppl lessons? on my first attempt of lesson 2, my bumpy course cannot even do a proper one. just keep falling or go off course and he just pass me! i mean i rather pay more but at least after i can do the course proper then u pass me ma.

If you are the first bike @ the stop line, you need to check right and left before moving off....

Else if you are the second bike onward, check back and move off, reaching the turn, check blind spot.

If you're the first bike, and you going to do a turn left, you check back right and left then move off. If youre 2nd and above, check back right, move off check left before turning. If you stop at the line, and wanna turn right, being first bike, check back both right and left.

Posted

but if u are second bike, u still have to stop at stop line and u will become the first bike right? so does it means that i have to check right left for all stopline before moving off?

i still don understand the rational for checking right left. the instructor said got 4 spot in the test route that i have to do the right left check. but from what i see, there are more stop lines so why not all stoplines do right left checks

class 2a and class 2 they are not that strict. if they can pang chance, they will, esp for class 2.

afterall, you are considered to be a 'seasoned' rider compared to 2b and 2a.

i presume you are taking class2 as mentioned in yr earlier post.

if you are following the TP route, these are the following places where you have to check back and left blindspot within moments of each other.

1. T-junction with the 2 walls where you have to inch out. check back, inch out. roads clear, move off, check left and lane change.

2. controlled traffic junction after fig 8 and crank course. if you are the first bike, check back and left BEFORE moving off. if not, just check back and check LEFT blindspot when you are about to pass the traffic light post.

3. Fig 8 and crank course. before moving off to proceed with the courses, you have to check back and left blind spot.
