Actually im okay with anything that lingers between 25km/l to 28km/l.

 

I know the width is abt the same. But the front has 2 wheels which might make squeezing a little less agile. So i really need to test ride the bike b4 making any decision.

 

I will find time to go down Genting road too bad they are not opened on sat...

i tink the wideness of MP3 is about the same as X8,so shouldn be a problem squeezing,but of course u cannot compare with smaller bike like SP or Kup Kia..btw,for MP3 400's fc should be different from 250..

 

 

Would it be possible that 400's FC is better than 250?

 

IMO, 250's FC seems better than any cc (for any brand and model).

under seat storage for 400 also diff,not as deep as 250.but rear tyres are thicker though..of course 400 has the advantage of more power

My Comments on MP3 400cc. (clocked 1800km in 1 week)

 

FC wise, hmmmm I hit 23-25km/l cruising between 90-110km. would be higher if i were to tour NSH.

 

Top speed. On the way to Malacca, i accidentally hit 155km/hr.

 

Ergonomics. Very comfy bikes. Stable at high speed.

 

Cornering. Cannot compare to gsr or ducatis. but you still corner baring during wet weather.

 

Storage space... a little disappointing. cannot put helmet underseat. but can easily solve by placing top case

 

Overall

 

Something that i can confidently tour to Mae Hong Son this July. Comfortable, good storage space. FC reasonable. Top speed not too fast, but can overtake buses on NSH. No problem squeezing thru CTE. Just flash beam if car refuse to give way.

thanks for the review. Regarding the underseat storage space.. im quite disappointed that it is unable to hold a helmet.

before i got my MP3 i also struggled between 250 and 400..but after listenin to fellow forumers advice,i settled on a 250..For 250 top speed tat i have tried was 135,tink really is the max for my 250 le..but acceralation from 0 km/hr to 100 km/hr is still acceptable for mi..

before i can get class 2 f

 

by that time, perhaps new facelift model

fuoco only 500cc but then again you will need a class 2 f. nvm can ride the 400 first...it's quite powerful too cos when i tested the 250, I tot it was quite fast already. there's a few colours like red and white but i think the black is still de best...

Last Saturday Trip

 

Total Distance of 530km.

Route taken - GP Esso > Kota Tinggi > Johor Lama > Sungei Rengit > Tg Balau > Kg Tg Lembu > Kahang > Ayer Hitam > NSH > R&R GP.

 

Comments.

 

The Upside

The Mp3 is fun and stable in the backend roads in M'SIA. Able to abosrb potholes, banking comfortably in corners.

Highway, may not be as fast as the Inline 4s, but you are able to overtake busses and lorries easily. Headlight bright enough for night riding.

Off road riding was impressive. PM me on this one.

 

The Downside

 

Mp3 Windshield a bit low and you will receive wind blast at cruising speed.

Fuel tank. Better to bring along a 5L Jerry Can for petrol. You might need this.

Too many people will try and talk to you about the Mp3. Can be kool at first but when you travel for hours, you tend to be a little bit irritated. Will upload the pic soon
