haha...b4 i bought my rvf i consider super4 & rvf...the reason i chose rvf is bcoz not much ppl ride...like dat we are more special mah...im waiting for the day most of us come out together & ROARvf on the road...dat wil be cool...haha

hi, any1 really know wads the standard fuel consumption for rvf bikes? mine is like till ard 210km excluding reserve.. and its abt 13km/liter, issit normal?

 

I think you calculate wrongly. You mean 13km/$. RVF FC range around 21 to 23 km/l

ur calculation abit error.

210 / 13 = 16.15km/l

this is the consumption

average rvf gets abt 16km/l - 18km/l.

rvf sure lesser then super4... u think outside got alot of uncle riding rvf meh??? uncle ride suzuki400 n cbr i see alot.. but not rvf... especially super4 got ALOT OF UNCLESSSS 1 lo... this kind of bike suit them ma... but i dunno how come so mani real youngster go mod so much on super4 for wat.. how u mod is still a cruiser bike onli...juz my 2cent of view

fufu.. ur bike must be healthy and with some healthy tweak.

cos based on majority rvf which i've seen, their average is abt 210 - 240.

rvf jetting is already bigger den most 400cc bikes when in stock.

so therefore, fuel consumption sure differr from most 400cc.

 

anyway, to save some of the petrol, u guys can try changing to slightly smaller jetting.

yup original i never touch anything inside the fairings maybe its just because u guys throttle too much? pick up dun need to open already very fast le.. or maybe u guys go above 150 too often>

for normal road use 150/60 can le.. for track 160/60 is better n if u wan use 160 tyre ur chain must use racing x-ring or o-ring cos it is thinner so wun tio ur tyre.. 160/60 better on track cos u wun high side as easy as 150/60. And if u r tat type of ppl tat attack the turn hard pls dun use street tyre like m1 m3 all this.. u will fall very easy my 2cent tat i learn in track

ya, 160rear may hit ur chain guard/chain. only certain 160 tires model wont.
