The jams are so horrendous. Hazardous to health for the riders. Should take the public transport. Again, with the new Malaysian immigration, 2 lanes is ridiculous. Worst for public transport users who stand in the bus. Better get a seat or wait for the next bus. ;)

Come join me for badminton. Live healthy, slowdown.:)

hi all,

i wanna try going to malaysia for petrol first and after that i would like to explore the place. so i would like to ask.....

1) besides passport, what else would i need?

2) how dangerous is it?

3) i am most probably going to travel by 2nd link, how far is the petrol station from there?

4) do we have to pay at the customs?

5) is white card needed?

6) what kinda riding gear should i bring along?

7) any other info i should know?

sorry for all the questions guys. i would like to make my virgin trip to malaysia very soon. kinda bored riding locally.

When touring, its usually the rider that give way first before the bike itself.

1. passport and white card. if 2nd link you need additional 70c toll and 1.60rm for toll the other side.

2. dont wear flashy jewellery

3. few km only via 2nd link. but then to u-turn etc, about 10km le.

4. second link yes, 1st link no.

5. yes, you need a white card

6. best to wear a ff, armoured jacket, gloves and covered shoes.

7. observe and learn? haha.

hope that helps

when making payment for ur petrol at the station, please keep ur eyes wide open to ur bike and surroundings as 2nd link is pretty quiet at times. Handlebar lock or disc break lock if ur going to the toilet or even just for awhile to somewhere out of sight from ur bike.

Theft rate for SGP bikes are high and esp for super4

so hope it helps

You should try the first link. Go for a twist and turn to the msia custom. After which keep left pass "SHELL" . right turn go to inner of Johor. Head to Permas Jaya, ride ride pass "Go Cart place" then head to "Jusco", U turn then head back to SG. Just to familiar the msia Road, after which when u gain more experience, go 2nd link for a dark dark tour. Bring more Ka ki ride together.
