for me lah....but i'm jus learning, might be wrong oso....t1 3, t2 4, t3 3(but i know some use 2 here), t4 3, t5 2, t6 3, t7 3, t8 3, t9 2, t10 2, t11 3 and t12 2.

 

t12 exit from gear 2 drag up to gear 4 to t1........t1 exit from gear 3 drag up to gear 5 to t2.

 

well...these r the gears i am using rite now....wat r u using wen gege?

 

i am riding a 600...so maybe a 1000 will be different...or it may depends on yr sprocket combination also....so i gues same bikes but with diff sprocket combination can hav different gearing on track. well...jus my thoughts. i might be wrong.

Hyper newbie trial and error gear selections:

Bike - CBR929

Gearing - Stock (16/42)

 

T1 - 2. Exit T1 in 2, upshift to 4

T2 - 4.

T3 - 2. Drag in 2 till T4

T4 - 2. Drag in 2 till T5

T5 - 2. Exit T5 in 2, upshift to 3

T6 - 3. Maintain gear 3 through next 2 corners

T7 - 3.

T8 - 3.

T9 - 2.

T10 - 2. Drag in 2 till T12

T11 - 2

T12 - 2. Exit T12 in 2, upshift to 3

 

Above changes frequently, due to frequent forgetting of current gear.

wahhh....3 teeth up...dats gonna be a blast...hehehe...actually i hav a set of chain sprockets in hand. its from my previous bike cbr6 03. My bike now using front 16 back 41. The extra set i hav is 15 front 42 back. that will be quite equivelant to 3 teeth up on the back...rite? but eng not stress ah like dat?

yup!u wil not stress ur engine in fact u can hav better acceleration and u don hav 2 use 2nd gear.using 3rd gear for most of d corner in pg.hope tis help:)
