turn 2 i use 4th gear. not sure wats my speed though. but i know i'm not fast enough there at turn 2...hav not manage to scrap knee at turn 2...

Thanks u sir for uploading ur video at multiply....i had seen ur turn 2.....gear 4 into the turn 2 at 160++km then u drop to gear 3 for turn 3......today i tried......gear 4 hit 210km++ on the straight b4 turn 2, then i brake reduce to 170++ then drop gear 3 into turn 2 quite high rev but got the extra power if u wana open a bit more in turn 2 then brake reduce speed into turn 3 cos already in gear 3 liao......i see ur turn 1 v fast.....i think i know where i can improve...Aug 1st is the chinese hungry ghost festival...so will rest for this 1 mth.....after that hopefully i can get better rubbers and improve on the timing....

 

Yup that is the average (ideal) speed for T2. from there you can push bit by bit but it take guts to do it when it come to 180 and above. so be careful when you test urself.....few of them end up 'camping' at the resort, one of them is me...hehehehehe:D

by the way...u can take turn 3 using 2nd gear. i will slowly do dat, coz rite now i cant control my bike when i drop from 4th down 2 gears for turn 3. dats y i use gear 3... must learn bleeping to get a smooth downshift at that turn, using 2nd gear.

 

Syam u need small bike (with clutch not those wave of urs) to practice

bleeping. example: u saw red light from far bout 70-100m slow down ur bike, then bleep when u change gear, one at the time. practice this technic when there not many/heavy road user. (night the best time) for ur case, at least 1 month or 2, u will master it....

You will have to be used to using the front brake with only one or two fingers in order to downshift this way. It is best to use your index and middle fingers to brake while keeping your ring and pinky fingers on the throttle.

 

After you begin braking, pull in the clutch and select the next gear like you would normally.

 

Here is the tricky part. Still holding the clutch in, use the palm of your hand and/or your ring and pinky fingers to rev the engine slightly.

 

Remember to keep braking smoothly with your index and middle fingers.

 

When the engine is revved up slightly, let the clutch back out to engage the next gear. The goal here is to match the revolutions of the engine to what they need to be to travel the same speed in the lower gear. This smooths the transition between gears and eliminates the need to slip the clutch quite as much.

 

If the bike jerks forward when you let the clutch out the engine was turning too fast. Don't rev it as much next time.

 

If the bike rapidly slows, the engine wasn't turning fast enough so you need to rev it more before releasing the clutch.

 

Repeat each time you shift down a gear. This technique is especially useful in the lower gears, which generally have a wider gap between gear ratios.

haha this 1 find in the internet 1 lar.........i where got so good.....scrap knee ah.....haha dun think so......cos my lean angle is v safe.....i lean a lot of my body off...bike i let the lean angle be as safe as possible..so i wont be going that low to scrap knee.....havent got the scrap knee feel u see.....and my michelin pilot sports i dun want to push them too far........safety 1st.....

nvm..no need get small bike with clutch to practise. no need waste money lah. i practise straight with my cbr. manage to bleep at sepang....though not yet master...but manage to do it...so gonna try apply it when playing PG.

dun want ah bro.....i advise u not to get this type of mounting. 1stly...obstruct yr riding...u wont be able to lean down. i was fighting hard against the wind and open/close of throttle force due to my body not lean down....so its a bit hard to perform at yr best with this kinda mounting. but most important thingy is.....its a hazard having sumthing on yr tank. touchwood if anything wd to happen.....yr camera or bracket might hit yr chest.......think about it first bro bfore getting it. like u said...safety first...
