Boss, any battery reconditioning session soon?

Didn't start bike for two weeks, now can't start.

I got a ctek charger fm u some time back, should I just charge up the battery?

Would that be the same as reconditioning?

 

Think I better connect the ctek adaptor to plug in the charger without having take out the battery,

So at least when ride to office,can charge the bike...

U have the part?

Hi mate... I will try to organize the next CTEK battery reconditioning session on the 20th May. In the meantime do charge yr bike with yr charger at the office - setup the additional connector to the battery. Yes we also carry the CTEK additional charging cord & some models comes with battery condition indicators as well.

My batt went down this gloomy mn n really need to sort this out by today... My bike is Faz6n but im not sure what type of batt is currently installed cos i did change it about 1 year ago.

My qn, will this Ctek charger be of any help? How much does it cost and can i get it from ur shop?...Thanks

Hi mate itis always best to maintain your battery regularly - now that it is flat the charger can only recharge it but may not help it back to its normal level. Pls call me at 93891138 if you need further help .......... the CTEK chargers is priced from s$75 - $588 between various models & yes most are in stock, including the MSXT 70 ( walled mounted 12/24 version 35/70amp rating ) at s$1600 each.

got it out from the bike already.

 

does any bike shop does re-charging?

Most bike shops will charge your battery, but if u put back the battery & ride here - I will recondition it for u .....

the batt is going flat. because the rectifier is gone case too.

 

i'm trying find the rectifier too.

 

cant ride out of the carpark as the engine will dies off.

 

this morning ride out awhile, engine dies on me 2 times.

 

really sucks feeling.

In your case best to repair yr bike charging system, otherwise battery will always go flat no matter weather u charge or not.....

Hi limbat,

 

My bike's battery was changed about 1 and a half years ago and all of a sudden, my headlights, auxiliary lights and all my meter lights blew and i suspect that the electric start became faulty because of this. I came to discover that the battery was faulty as when i tried to charge it with my CTEK XS 800, the charging light and the full battery light on the charger was flashing quickly and there was a buzzing sound coming from the charger. I normally charge my battery every 3 months and i do not get this problem.

 

Anyway, to cut the long story short, i changed my battery and my bulbs and my bike is working again. The question is that, in your experience, is this an isolated incident whereby the battery just went faulty, taking the other components with it or could this be a charging problem? This issue actually happened in March this year and now in June, i do not get anymore problems except for the starter motor mentioned above. Thanks.

The your current issue is a faulty battery, that is why the CTEK XS800 would not start charging. But the Buzzing sound from the XS800 is not normal, may I have a look at your charger pls. CTEK XS800 has a 5 year warranty, do you still have your receipt ? Do get your starter repair ....

The buzzing only happened with the faulty battery. With my new battery, there buzzing sound is no more...

Morning Hifiger....... Next recond session should be 15th or 22nd July not confirm yet - but do note it will be at the new show room on the 3rd floor 03-22 instead of the 2nd floor unit of EastLink building.

 

If it is the first time it should take 2-3 four for a bike & 3-5 hours for a car, depending on the condition & age of the battery.

just checking do you sell battery fluid with acid? i accidentally get some dirt into the battery while topping up with distilled water. i know replacing the battery is cheap but just trying to go green if possible. will go down to the battery conditioning session if possible. thanks...

No mate - we are not stock them & allowed to sell those Battery Acid. Best to get them from the battery retailer..... or battery company like Yuasa.
