That might be the gasket gone liao? so the eo is leaking or 'sip' out? keep moniter it if it become dripping then time to send to workshop liao. as i know when mech fix the engine they will apply some kind of heat resis silicon togather with gasket?

 

do i need to do in asap?

Oh, so my rpm shld be normal. hehehe.. my idling is 1K+ little bit. clutch in no stone jumping sound. but changing gear felt not very smooth, i wonder the clutch plates life is times out???

 

Er... ur pump kit is the piston with rubber seal and spring only or the whole reservoir? $90? Mine just changed the piston kit, which inclded the rubber seal and spring.

The shop charged me so call material only(according to the boss) as my bike just left the shop 2 weeks ago:(

 

i also felt that changing gear not so smooth, sometimes upgear2 will stuck at neutral or upgear that time got a 'tak' sound very loud, dunno isit normal?clutch freeplay i set further abit liao.

i heard from some one that u can actually test if ur clutch plate isit ok.

 

*Step 1*Start engine and enter 1st gear

*Step 2*Press hard on front brake, release clutch slowly and accelerate. *Observe*

If the engine begins to die off, due to the strength of the engine pushing the bike forward, YOUR CLUTCH SHOULD BE GOOD

 

If the engine continues to run and shows a slip and power on again effect, then its time to visit your local mechanic and have a final consult before doing a clutch overhaul.

 

for my pump kit i think is only the piston with rubber seal and spring cuz my reservoir still using the old one. including bleeding as well. $90 is it ex?

after changing front pump kit and service front brake caliper include replace all 8 pistons and new brake pads, my front brake still not very efficient.. how?? why?

That unit shld clamped tight on handlebar. which have engine stop switch+starter switch+hazard switch, is ur starter switch or engine stop switch loose?? i think shld can open it up and check the contact points see whether can do some soldering on to those points?? as time passed those points wear out liao?? this might solve ur prob insteed to change the whole unit?? Just my 2cents

My gear shifting prob exactly same like urs! need to find expert mech to check it liao...haiz....

Ur front brake after service still no good? might be new pad need to season...

probably ba. have to squeeze front brake lever freeplay alot while rear brake pedal have to step very hard in order to stop efficiently. haizzzzz

If like that your brake piston pump not working properly. Go service your brake calipers.

actually im not sure either. cos i say it in youtube that they have this indicator that will light up wen ur vtec open. available in singapore??

You can actually DIY though. But not to show how. I remembered got this guy who was gonna sell his bike in this forum, it's a non urgent sale and he's bike also like what you mentioned. LED light will lit up when Vtec opens.

i have vtec indicator on my bike!! its already there when i bought my bike so lucky me.
