oic..how to check e wires ar? i not veri gd with D.I.Y on my bike le...can guide me on how to check..thanks bro :)

ah pek, seems like alot of super4 peers look up to u. :)

u do sideline for repairs n stuff? can have yr contact no? so i can find u for repair of my bike?

cheers!

oic..thanks bro..i go tried out yr method, but if engine die off, we shld just clutch into any gear and press e push-start button then e bike shld start ma..dnt knw y my bike cant le..

----------------------------------------------------------------------

ah pek,wat can b wrong with my bike? pls kindly advise...thank u!

Not doing this as side line or freelance and most ppl think lah..just that if I can be of help with things I experienced myself..I just shared..yah, to the extend of looking up the bike. However, this is possible only if I have the time of the day to do so.

In your case..yah, you might wanna check the two wire connector next to your clutch lever frontal part (no DIY required as u can see that its just two connector)..just make sure they it in properly. Can sometime be accidentally come off due to meddling around that area.

Your case may be an actual fault. It all has to do with "safety" as with regards to engine off when in gear components. There are cases when one put in netural..the engine dies and it's caused by a neutral switch sensor inside under the engine (engine oil have to come off to get the sensor sitch replaced) area. Your case may be another switch or sensor that supposing detect side stand down and in relation with clutching in circuitory. In this case, could be a faulty switch (sidestand not triggering it), the sensor to circuitry for engine cut off or just a back wiring connection due to rainy wetness road grind and dirt.

I don't do the rectification but somewhat help in 'fault finding' and solution suggestion for possiblities so that u won't kenna chop chop with things that is not necessary to replaced. For this, you can go find Ah Fook at Industrial Park 2 to have a second opinion (free lah..just say I send u) or any other trust worthy mototiam of yours.

Do keep the rest update here of your rectification so that we can all learn here.:sian:

Hello guys, just need some opinion here.. I've went down to see a s4 selling cheaper than market, due to the owner is owing some installments to the shop. If I take over the bike, I have to COI until the last payments only can transfer ownership, or else there will be a penalty.

Q: Is this penalty normal? As a bike shop, arent they more than happy you got the money to pay off?

Q: We can sign a paper with witness but will it be sufficient to transfer ownership at the end of the installment? Is it legally binded by the law?

Q: Am not familiar with the bike, engine sounds ok, but gears a bit hard to shift. What do I have to take note if its a reliable not lemon? How much does it cost to overhaul the bike?

Thanks guys for clearing my doubts. :)

if u gonna pay the rest of the installment money in one time, some shop will have early resettlement penalty. all used bikes sure got wear and tears depending on the previous how he take care of it.

full service incl EO, oil filter, spark plug, coolant ard $200

top service incl opening of engine cost alot more.

the rest is to service fork, brake caliper + pads, chain sprocket, clutch housing.. depending how the bike condition..

just to share with u..

What it exactly do when u install at cb400?

Maybe ah pek can help

Revtec improves ur electrical system, something to do with ac dc and charging of ur batt.. So that its less burden.. Pple claim bike is smoother.. Fix revtec with grounding and u sure to feel the diff.

Would suggest to check the harness first to see if it is loose. If not loose then might be ur switch.

Super 4, mostly the maintanence the same. Older bike might need to spend slightly more on wear and tear parts. FC it depends bro. But just a note that performance almost all the time come with the increase in FC too.

It depends on whats done on the bike , jetting, fullsystem exhaust, might cause a increase in FC.

Also they way you ride.

S4 generally should be able to hit 300-350 before reserve, depending on your ride.

Dear Fellow S4 Riders;

I just bought a 95' PB1.

As I usually change the Engine Oil myself, I would like to ask if any PB1 Rider know the engine oil capacity.

I try to search through the engine but I cannot find any label regarding the amount of Engine oil to use.

Many thanks and Best Regards

Hi guys, hope to share yr expertise with my recurring problem.

my bike could crank start normally with pretty constant idling. While stationery, it would just killed off randomly meaning, the rpm suddenly drop to zero. However, as i am riding, the engine would just died off and restart automatically.

few things that are alrdy checked: battery voltage constant at 14.2 without headlight, engine on/off switch and side stand sensor, earth wire, spark plug cable. All working properly. Anyone has this problem or expertise to share?

Thank you very much! Cheers
