haha, it does take quite a bit of courage and confidence when you first start to pump 290 into your rear tyre. Cause like, for normal cars, the pressure is about 200 to 240 max only.

there was this once i met a driver while pumping my tyre, he was shock that i was pumping at such high psi. then i was thinking in my head.. i need my tyre to be rounded leh, not like his car tyres flat on the ground, of course need a higher pressure la. then he was like saying dont need so high and all that cos his car only this psi.. nonsense man, knows nothing...

I think 280 hit reserve still ok bro. I got a friend uses micron pipe, 4 to 1 headers, change bigger size jetting and aftermarket airfilter. He gets 230 hit reserve. Haha. I get 300.

Aftermarket airfilter will effect FC meh?

But i do know that changed jetting will result in poor FC.

haha well said. drivers...they'll never understand..

How did u guys get such good mileage huh?

Mine only 280 or sometimes less then went into reserve already.

My riding style is like this:

I will almost always ride at 120km/hr-130km/hr at every chance i can get.

I always change gear at high RPM cause i like the sound of it.:cheeky:

What r ur opinions on this?

Well i know this matter had been discussed umpteen times before but i think its good for a little reminder every now and then.

hmmm easy..=) open your v-tec on the last gear if you intend to travel at high speed =D

well, for me, i used to have 280 and then enter reserve

so went down to HKL and did dyno and they did mentioned that

changing jet kits doesn't really make your FC worse as

you will have better flow of air & fuel ratio makeing your response better

thus it's tends to save fuel..

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

if you say,yur headlight sometime do on and sometime dont.do check yur wiring.Check the 3pin connector to the headlight, see if it lose or anything.(got to remove the two (+) screw below the headlamp.

i cant remeber is 18L (3L reserve) or 17L (3L reserve).Think is 18L.

Any1 has experment with different tyre pressure on a new set of tyre?I tried front and rear both 37PSI.cornering was damn shiok.as if the bike was asking me to go even lower.but from what I know more air in a tyre meaning lesser contact surface on the road and longer braking distance. But now am trying front 34PSI and rear 36PSI.the feel was there, but could't win the 37PSI.So any advice?stick to both 37PSI or 34 front and 36 rear.

hi all, how come everytime i release my clutch back to engage higher gears, there will be a metal-rubbing sound at the clutch plates area? will it damage my gearbox or is there something wrong?

did open up my headlight but seems nothink wrong though.. check the bulb if its still in place, its should be coz theres a clip to hold the bulb, so its impossible for the bulb to get loose...

end up went to change at bike shop... maybe going to blown out.. haiz

our tyres is different in size for front and rear. my suggest/opinion is you stay front 34 and rear 36PSI for daily road use. am using tat pressure for my m3 since.. corner still syiok! unless i am going to track, then i use same pressure for both, which is either 30 or 31 PSI. (its just my opinion, others may differ from mine)
