hey guys, can i check with u guys what does a gasket do?

my fuse keeps getting blown up even after getting a re-wiring so the mech suggested a change my gasket.

and does anyone knows the price for a stock rectifier and magnetic coil for spec 3?

Guys, I've just top up my coolant(the white container at the right side) two days ago. I accidentally filled it to the brim and did nothing to it after that. Today I checked, the coolant has gone down to below the halfway mark. Is there something wrong wit my radiator? I checked so far no leaking. Wat can be the cause of it drying up so fast? TIA.

do check ifyour thermal stats working.start your bike,rev it abit for like 10min(depend on bike).see if your fan got on or not.

 

edit:or maybe u nv close the rubber cap properly.try top up,then observed it.

Hi all. I am riding a 10yrs old Vtec 1. I am facing some problem. My coolent seems to be empty after 2mths. I suspect there are some leakage. I went to my mechanic and thhey replace the hose. However I still face the problem. My coolent totally dried up fast. Anyone face such a problem before.

 

Another thing is I am planning to do top overhaul for my bike since its be on the road for 10yrs. Anyone can advise. The cost etc....thanks.

 

Check ur radiator for leakage.. I use to have the same problem. A small leakage from the radiator is all it takes. It will drip out slowly causing ur coolant to dry up n ur bike to get heated up fast. I changed my whole radiator after that. N everything is cooler n ok. No terrible drop in coolant anymore.

Guys, if spec 3 speedometer sometimes working n sometimes not, n if working will shake2 like not stable.., must change wat? Sensor is it?

N u guys know how much original magnetic coil for spec 3 is?

after changing my EO recently, my vtec 1 engine has a ticking sound which comes and go. Bike shop says it is due to the worn out shim. is it true ?

No need to put balancer cuz ur handlebars are wide enuf oredi. I dun use any balancer for my rental handlebars. Den if u squeeze thru traffic with da balancers, all da ppl mirrors sure to break. Hehe

All Vtecs and Revo is 3.2 litres with oil filter change but its okay with 3.5 litres.
