Hi riders,I would like to ask a few questions.

Q. A shop bike offered to sell me a second hand Yoshimura full system exhaust for Revo.Offered price is $800.Condition is 9/10 claimed by shop owner.I have not seen e exhaust physically but according to owner e exhaust does not come with a cert which I have to purchase.Currently Im using Leovince SBK exhaust if trade in shop take in for $200.Its a good offer but Im 50/50 to take up e offer.To those who might experience on this,plz advise.

Er. Sorry. I think u misread his qns. The full system exhaust is 2nd hand and thus should have the cert for the full system from local authorised dealer. Regards to inspection cert. He haf to do it no matter first hand or 2nd hand. Btw heard that LTA dun approved anymore new full system exhaust. Any bro can confirm this??

[Q] Where is the best place to buy Givi Boxes, Head Fairing and Belly Pan?

 

Hello guys, I recently got a Spec II and I'd like to know where is the best place (i.e. the cheapest and most reliable place) to install Givi Top Box and Side Box. Also, I want to install a Belly Pan and the full head fairing (i.e. the Spec III one) but I don't know where to go. Does anyone know where is a good place to go?

Hi. Today wen I ride my bike for 15min. Wen I come to a stop at junction. My bike suddenly die off. Al my light stil looks good my volt meter seem ok. I noe by tis look is nt v accurate. But I tin my voltage is fine. Wen I try start up my bike I press e electic starter. It gt no effect. Nt even any sound. But after ard 30sec. It able to start agn. It happen 2time of my 15min ride. Could it b spark pluck? To me I got clueless wad is happening. Sum1 pls advise. Ths alot

Heard that Motoworld does a spec 3 conversion which is quite good. I remember reading that its about $200?

Intending to get a Spec 3 in 2 months' time, thus need the advice from the experts here.

 

What are the common issues / problematic areas to look out for?

1. Suspension?

2. Engine sound?

3. Etc...

Problem cb400 spec 2

hey ppl..got my spec two bout two months back..bike was okay when i bought it..after a month of riding,,the bike started to lose power..its rather sluggish in terms of pick up as well as cruising on 3rd and 4th gear onwards..my mech then told me to change my clutch plates and so i did..i then changed my chain and sprockets,k&n airfilter,front and back wheel bearings as well as wash and tune my carbs..after tat it was smooth for only a week before it started being sluggish again..there was also once when i was riding on pie,my pipe started making tis *BOBOK* sound as if it was breaking down however i clutch in and throttle multiple times and after sumtime it got back to normal..its as if the bike was about to sieze...

i nid the bros here to lend me a hand regarding tis complication of my bike..btw could the suiggish response of my bike be due to eo? cause i juz tried using motul 5100 apart from my ows 8000...thanks ppl hope to hear from u guys soon...

Go have ur spark plug replaced.

hey ah peck i took ur advise and changed to the iridium spark plugs..would say the pick up all improve however when i try to slow down there is this thud2 sound coming from my bike..the mech told me he fixed the chain wrongly or sumting but after tat still gt the same problem.not to mention despite changing spark plugs,the speed at gear 4 and gear 5 is horrible..it feel like the bike sluggish again as if the valves were choke and i cnt go smoothly,like a rough feeling on my bike when riding faster..the funny thing is tat when i am going till 3rd gear,it feels damn smooth and nice but when 4th and 5th gear,really not smooth but rough ..nid help bro..i keep on bringing my bike to shop like 5times in one mth man..any help appreciated...thanks...

Have u check ur engine oil level and when was it last change? In the first place u should not have change clutch plates...it was awaste of money. Don't go back to that bike shop ANYMORE.

apeck i juz did my engine oil change last mth..i dun get it wats the problem wit the bike..the 1st 3 gears smooth but 4th and 5th its as if its damn super rough..stress liao..very rough till i feel 90km/h is like 60 or 70km/h..btw wats grounding?cn it help improve my bike?ur advise will be taken nt to return there..my clutch plates ori cost $160..feel like kena mutton chop...

hi guys. i'm riding a revo. i'm still running in my bike. just wanna ask usually at what rpm do you guys change gear? and also when moving off in gear 1 the pick up of my bike seems slow. if i open more throttle, the bike gets more noisy. anyways to improve the pick up?

Help! I came back from overseas and tried to start my bike just now. Totally flat. 0.00 voltage. What should I do??

I tried pushing down slope with gear 2 but didn't help. At least 6 times.

ah pek using self made eo.. special eo mix wif x1r or even nano (optional)... gnding is 13pt unlike 5pt outside... =p

most recommended is bring your battery to shop to charge. or if you go overseas frequently you can a charger for the battery so u can revive your dead battery everytime you come back ;)
