Need help..my block n piston was damage...cant be used...so sent a bike shop total repair was 2300...receive a call from them recently saying that my coolant hose is also damage..but went for coolant flush last mnth n nothing was damage..my question is does piston n block damage has even anything to do with my coolant hose..

i only know when you to do a full servicing they will need to take out the hose so that they can remove the engine block

Hi all

my spec 1 when in gear, cant start even when i clutch in, normal?

Is it with ur side stand down? If it is thats because its a safety feature on the bike unless u want to bypass it.

That valve clearance need to be done. It depends on how loud. If after u warm up it goes off then more likely nothing to worry abt. If not better to do valve clearance. Should cost below 250. Anything more is too much.

bike has been giving probs recently. switch on bike, lights all running, but when press starter, no crank sound. have to push start. ride, lets say from loyang to lavender, stop and off, then try to start again, no crank.

would it be a batt prob? have asked around, some say replace batt or maybe starter carbon. any advise?

much appreciated, thanks!

U need to use volt meter to tap ur batt and u on ur bike to rev to 4k rpm to see if charging to at least 13.5 then starter carbon at least 65- 85. Anything more is exp.

Encounter same problem...might probably be starter or batt...bcoz u can push start to ride...if u cant push start to ride means ur coil might have a prob...there is one more..ur switch..try pressing ur switch alittle harder while pressing u start ur bike..if it works then its ur switch need to replace..

Hi guys wanna ask is it normal for a spec2 fuel meter gauge to be 5/6bar and sometimes rise up and down after refuelling a full tank. Even it maintain that position till it hit 100km. Any idea? I just recently change the tank floater and problem still insist. 1 thing i notice is also there's a little sunburnt like crack on the fuel gauge meter maybe due to it? Or is it normal?

Given the age of the bike & the environment where the bike is parked, it's common that the meter LCD will burnt off.. But can be easily replaced/ diy depending on the severity of it

Try loosening the upper and lower front fork clamp bolts (size 14)..then sit on your bike and straighten the front wheel (make sure tyre is pointing staright in lne) using your handle (make sure u hand hold ur handle equally). If there is any sign of misalignment of the handle bar and tryes..twitch the fron't tyre in line to match..than tighten all fork clamp bolts again..make sure it's tight but not over tighten. Good luck.
