dear All gurus, i've wanted so long to get a drz. finally. i'm going to realise it. i appreciate if any lobangs on getting one. i've asked dexing n they r selling at 12k o.t.r for a k8 model. loois also i asked but that abg cannot tell me the price. saw a k7 2nd hand also they say dunno the price. anyone who just got theirs can share wif me? really, really appreciate it..thxs..

hmms . 160+ also ba . lol . i ever try on my frens bike but thy all jet till quite high . tat why . hahas . if u buy from shop thy will jet gantong to the ht suit u free right :p

jet till quite high? they nv jet high bah, it comes like tat.

the shop will not jet anything for u except setting the rear suspension, harder or softer, aiyo just get a lowering link:cool:

lowering links were the first thing i tot of wen i wanted to get drz....

 

but all i did after getting the bike was go to eugene's saddlery n he basically shaved the seat to my comfortable reach..he did a superb custom job on my seat..

 

I'm onli 1.55m tall aniwaes...i can assure u i can reach the floor comfortably...

 

dun believe me??...hahaha...once in awhile u can spot me at SGH picking up my gf on a black stock drz..then u'll noe how short i am...hahaha...

 

so if u see a short malay dude riding a drz ard tat area, do say hi or wave or sumthin...:thumb:

this is y i nv set my biting point so close, i always adjust it far but just nice

Too much clutch cable play.

unfortunately i went for my first EO change and got the clutch play adjusted..

 

rode out of the shop.. first traffic light i couldn't engage 1st gear from neutral.. bah.. i'm hoping it gets better as the running-in completes..

really ah? is that considered cheap liao for a DRZ nowadays? last few months i asked aspoon n they quote me 14k OTR incl of leovince. haiz.....want to get liao oso headache......:(

not sure bro, sembawang drive gt only 1 idustrial park. u can go search. btw early this month i went to everbright at paya lebar behind singapore post they sellin brand new drz sm everything includin insurance for $13500. throw in FS GPR Exhaust system and change signal light to smaller one.

no, dexing not the agent. just seller. i asked dexing, he said theirs is agent bike not parallel. 3 x free servicing and warranted by agent guan hoe. so guan hoe oso selling same price? dexing told me if go back to agent oso got servicing but free labour only.

ppl always asking abt lowering scrams and motards..

now we finally got some asking for jack the bike up..

 

motards not like S4 or RXZ, if you wanna achieve the 70's 80's jack up tail..

motards are not for you..

 

increasing the ride height will also increase your CG, thus cuz your bike to be less stable..

thxs to all the contribution n the comments. i think going shopping liao....might probably looking for a 2nd hand wif full setup, well, hopefully really can get one wif that config as it's quite hard nowadays as drz is like hot goreng pisang.....niways, even if i got one 2nd hand, shld be from one of our bros/sis here. will tell ya guys if eva i get one n hopefully learn more things abt the Z.....

i dun mean the jack up tail but more like class 2 bikes kind of height.... last time i rode ktm with the suspension set to the highest yet both my feet can touch flat on the road with my knee bend somemore...lol to me it looks funny lah....but when i was riding the k1 600, the height of the bike was perfect for me....so juz wondering izzit possible to set to that kind of height....
