pls guys do your illegal mods loop hle discreetly, there are many pigs in this forum or any other forum if you dont know by now. we are closely watched, if not how they know where to find what to FINE you on your bike. pls leave all the discussion on mods and loop holes when you meet up. thanks!

we are all here united to make our ride the best!! but if everyone can just drop in on us, guess the Pigs will too. i mean they too are humans and riders but, but some will just make use of our friendship to help with their promotions. so its still safer to do thing legally here and leave the secret when we meet up!! hmmm... i have not met and of you guys yet by the way... hope we can meet someday! cheers!

Hi Guys, what grips are you guys using? The stock grip gave me thunderous blisters after 2hrs of continuous riding last night.

The balancers seems to unscrew easily. Do you guys have yours removed? If so, wat do you do about the gaping hole at the end?

Just wondering if there are gel or much more comfy aftermarket seats made for our bikes? It's a real pain in the ass and it sucks the fun outta riding for me. :sian:

Which shop would you guys recommend if i wanna get accessories and stickers?

Cheers!

Papadum

Gel seats aren't cheap Jimmy!

Price of it on flebay...

I'm not sure if the throttle is the same as the E model. But if it is, the right grip is one piece with the throttle tube. Meaning you can't juz slid the grip off. Either slowly (and painstakingly) slice off the rubber portion bit by bit or juz replace the tube with a Yamaha or KTM unit.

i think what u say is correct....cos "auntie" told me b4 abt cutting the grip when i mention change grip the other time....

And the seat sounds very comfy...anybody have it?any comments?

Thanks for the link Airick. 149 bucks is too much to pay for a seat indeed. :giddy:

J.D, I just got my grip changed today. I just can't stand it no more and yeah, you're right about the grip. It's glued to the tube at the sides or at least that's what it seems. I just got the mechanic to pull out the grip and later trim the excess rubber on the sides of the tube with a pen knife. It ain't a pretty sight but at least i don't get any more blisters.

:cheeky:

Btw, i met another yellow DRZSM rider at the junction adjacent to the sikh temple today. Really friendly guy but i can't recall his no. plate. Maybe you guys know him.

alternatively, you can reshape your seat by adding more foam...cheaper alternative and erm... you need to change the cover in that sense...

The bike is still so new. Don't think i will have the seat rewrap for the time being.

Thanks for the suggestion bugo. :giddy:

Damn! Left my abloy lock on the sprocket and tried to ride off this morning. Will it cause any damage to the sprocket or swingarm? I didn't see any visible signs of damage nor scratches at all.

You put disc lock on, or padlock on sproket, remember the following

ALWAYS park bike with front facing the wall. That way you cannot just ride off, you need to back out and if you forget about the lock when backing out no damage will be done. The bike will stop moving when the lock hit the swingarm.

Get your sproket check, you may have warped it. A new sproket costs about $70
