I sick and tired of riding my baby around on 1/2 and 3/4 throttle.

However must say the bike very stable, smooth and quiet, even at 3/4 throttle

Only 200km more to go then run-in period is completed.

so this genting trip will help u run in ur bike....

dunno leh.. it stated tubeless.... anyway i seem to read that most ang moh who gotten this bike, beside doing the necessary protection to the thin magnesium case shield, they relatvely immediately installed a dynojet kit... what does the kit do? better fuel consumption in the sense that "open" the bike up to more justified hp? then how many stages dynojet got for drz400sm?

oh yea.. another question is does the leaking water pump problem persist in both E and S models? (sing the new SM is literally an S model with motard rims)

DJ kit make ya throttle response livelier

as for the leaking problem, not so much on the newer drz liao

that what's the difference of using a magura fast throttle and dj kit? or are both the same stuff? oh yea... when they talk about opening up the air box.. does it mean the valves have to be changed as well?

this is a general gentle warning to all that's intending to get a suzuki drz400sm. please don't buy this bike.... it has this.....

sick effect that makes you wanna fork out more money from your wallet to mod the bike because it's like there's so many things that can be done and it's driving me crazy! (not saying that the bike is problematic, just that it unleashes your imagination of "if i add this, i can get this etc etc." and it's more than just changing pipes) have anyone caught that sickness yet?

Magura fast throttle simply pulls more cable with less twist. So the same amout of twist juz opens throttle a lil more. Nothing really much I guess.

DJ kit will improve responses and fuel consumption for most.

Airbox mod is usually together with the DJ kit to see a BIGGER difference in the bike. You juz cut a bigger hole usually 3 inch by 3 inch (aka "3x3 mod") below the CDI under your seat. I juz drilled plenty of holes instead of cutting it out. No valve change required.

i was thinking of changing the handlebar for the drz sm. the present bar doesn't suits my height at 1.8. was thinking of either Tag metal or maybe Renthal bar.

care to give some suggestion?
