Saw this bike from US yamaha website. Very nice.

called up Hong Leong, they said they may not import this beautiful bike due to LTA regulation......

I don't know, they said LTA doesn't allow bikes with US specs to be on Singapore Road something.

But Hong Leong imported the 2009 Yamaha XJ6 Diversion

whats the diff btwn the said FZ6R and the XJ6 Diversion? the only diff i see is the cover set..

 

However on the yamaha europe site theres no such thing as the FZ6R.. only the XJ6 09...

XJ6 is using it's own new design engine

 

FZ6 is using detune R6 engine..

Anyway, the FZ6R is still a budget model. Check out the non-USD fork, that simple strut swingarm. The shocks and forks are likely to be non-adjustable too.

22/1/09 morning i went to paya lebar and saw the new model

BUT it was xj6 diversion naked in yellow color

the hong leong named in under fz-6N .....how foolosih when the bike has sticker with XJ6

 

they only have naked version

 

however, i find it nice with the engine block color is pale gold.

 

but the handle is yucky color.

US version are more chio with air duct and colours,pertaining Co emission

level,thought US are very concern on that as they didn't allowed 2 stroke bike to race in motogp ,funny.
