I need some advice from all expert here.. Is there any bad side effect other than the beautiful loud exhaust sound that sometime scare other un-alert driver which I pretty much love it in a matter of fact... for not changing the re-pack material?

Standby for loss of power and excessive carbon build up in the combustion chamber and power valves. A well packed exhaust canister will ensure smooth flow of exhaust gases out of the chamber to facilitate a more efficient transfer from the crankcase chamber of the engine.

 

A 2 stroke engine's exhaust accounts for 70% of the power output.

i guess you are the one i met on the roads near Clementi AVE 6 exit.... wat Raptor says is true....you will neva feel the power loss immediately but over time... like the more you smoke the more faster your tar build up in your body.... winks*

Thanks bro...racing with the 400cc, tiring sia, plus some not even 400cc, the DrZs in front (not sure abt the KTM 525) all change to 470cc sia ,next time come say hello la.this other side of the Aprilia guys quite alright, no arrogance nor putting other riders down ..

Thanks all for the advice and since currently not feeling any power loss and no harmful effect for not changing guess I will left it be for the time being as I love the sound of the exhaust especially thru tunnel...

Most impt, I got addicted to blow at drivers that tends to keep to side of the lane when close to them then look at my side mirror... kind of cartoons they got scared by the sudden loud exhaust and quick keep to the center of their lane...

hahaha.... well enjoy scaring ppl and keep them in their lane.... as for the jacket.... for me safety first.... thats why i ride in full gear even on my spark..... get one if you treasure your life and are safety cautious....

hmmm does it have rave controller soleniod and valve blade set? and if it does is the carb stock? or 34mm... wat jet size and slide/needle you are using?

Bro the drzs infront not all are 470cc.. a few track days b4 a malaysian rider with a spark 135 beat all of them and got 1st in the 400cc cat. he cannot be using a 540cc engine ma...haha..

Spain no.1 is a restricted rs bike. I doubt its a 34mm, and they dont provide with the solenoid valve set. (told u to get mine dont want, hahaha) as to derestrict it there lots to do, change pipe, up ur carb to 34mm, get a racing cdi. Ah seng did 1 restricted bike too. Could wats needs to b changed or add in to hav the same power as the non restricted ones. Cheers for ur new ride!!

derestricting the 14k rpm model bike has tons to do but even the 12rpm bike have restriction in the combustion fllow.. valve timing and pull as well intake and exhaust flow... including the pipe... its on one's onus to know what this full de-restriction means and does for the bike... improper tuning resulting in high detonation meaning a hole in the piston and stuff for etc. so it depends on what you want out of your ride. Ask a few of them... they have seem my bike and yeah.... still cant keep up.....winks to those who know what i am talking abt....Son9Han...i hope my "knowledge" helps.

well bro it aint the number of owners nor the prce that matter...Service history and how well the bike was maintained. PS how "bad" is the engine.... bring someone along who knows about the bike before you step into muddy water....for all you know it might be "QUICKSAND"
